I've the new standard RWD about 10 weeks and I love it. Low mileage driving having done just 1500km but I find the drive excellent. I'm coming from a 2015 diesel but the comfort, tech, drive, etc. is on another level. And even in the slowest of the Model 3, the acceleration is pretty great.
I drive mostly R and N roads and efficiency is great IMO, about 13kWh/100km giving me a realistic range of 450km+
Love the clean, minimalistic design. I've mentioned before that I'd like a slight tilt on the screen towards the driver, but that's a very small gripe. Using the screen for everything is easy to get used to.
It's my first EV but the app is also very good in my opinion.
Did someone not say it's self assessment earlier with Tesla data. Are the EPA now inspecting these and doing all the testing ?

He stated that he presumed that the manufacture has to submit the car to the EPA for testing.
He also stated the company can submit the data for EPA review.
Both of these statements are correct. There’s 2 options for manufacturers in this process.
The EPA then released the figures. No difference here to any car that’s gone before it, petrol, diesel or electric.

Suggest that it's tested to its tasks, what if for. Small area low speeds.
If you’re really curious, you’d look at the EPA test cycle and understand how they are tested. It’s the same for every car in the US. We have ELPT, they have EPA. Simples. No witch hunt, just correction of facts or posts or paranoid thoughts.

I asked if they're tested to task. Their specific task. It would make the most logical sense because that's what they're designed for. They're not like your cars and won't be used for that.

The EPA cycle that determines the official range and consumption figures, maxes out at 60mph. Are you seriously suggesting that the cybercab max speed is less than that?
No official figure is known, but I would expect it to be 75mph at least
I wonder if someone somewhere could possibly alter a software limit to complete a standard suite of tests, maybe it's a far fetched notion and we should just speculate wildly instead.

There is absolutely nothing and no reason to suggest the electric car (because that’s what it is) would be tested any differently than any other electric car for EPA results.
If you can point to any reason, or rule they EPA would require different testing based on the car only operating in a restricted (but still public) area(s), I’m happy to read about it. I find it hard to believe that any reasonable person would think otherwise.
It’s up to you to offer evidence if there is different treatment for a certain car, not us to prove that the cybercab follows the same rules as any other EV for EPA testing.
Online indicates yes , but as we know online can be inaccurate. I've no idea!
Would like to see what sort of testing and how.
