9pm is a great time for lights out, probably going to clash with the indy 500 tho
Indy 500 at 6pm IIRC
It's normally around 3 hours depending on incidents, weather etc
I'll have to watch the indy 500 for as long as it goes anyway.....To me it's a gloriously mental spectacle!
Supposedly the Grand Prix is on Nerflix in the USA this weekend.
1pm for me here in Canada, I am spoiled with the race starts this year.
Hope it is a sign of progress, Alonso is not in the last 4 in Practice at this moment, the Astons are however running softs on both cars.
Good evening all.
Watching this on my phone, in work, as I see the World Cup stuff going up around the city. And it is sunny.
Not bad. Maybe a few pints later.
What was Crofty on there? Well over 2 minutes left and he's assuming everybody is done and calling the quali as done. And then most drivers improved on their last run...
He lost his marbles when Hamilton went fastest in the first sector as well.
Merc have extra legs when they need them in Qualy. Impressive from McLaren to be closer as well, season is kinda heating up.
This is bizarre.
(a second page of this document exists, which I have not copied/pasted as it just says, the team have the right to appeal:
Quite a variation in tyres for the sprint
Merc looking absolutely rapid, Kimi needs to keep the head here
That was great. Can take a Merc battle providing the pair of them give it as good as they've got.
Brutal from the TV director. Give us proper replays ffs!
Toto telling the young lad to cop himself on and get on with it.
Great entertainment.
The wall of champions nearly taking another victim there, the tv direction is horrendous
TV coverage was dreadful, race was decent ,numerous passes and incidents missed .
Sky's bias towards Russell is annoying .
Perez finishes 11. Nice to see the new team moving up the field.
Toto is a Man at work today trying to deflate Antonelli.
Hopefully we get to see some of the actual close incidents between Russel and Antonelli, and Piastri, Hamilton and Lecerc in replays because the camera work was shiite.
Antonelli getting too big for his boots for someone who was very fortunate to win courtesy of Russel having car issues and a safety car. Needs reeled back in
Usually bias is the case but before Kimi lost the head the commentators were desperate for Kimi to get Russell.
Looking at Karun's analysis it's very clear that Kimi was forced off the track by Russell.
In fairness Kimi has every right to be pissed off with that contact from Russell
I forgot the sprint race was on. Was busy spending time in the sun.
Not really, was entirely his own fault going for a gap that never existed
Only got to watch the sprint on catch up now. Was the TV director somebody doing work experience. Missed a bunch, crap replays then.
Good to see a proper Merc battle though. More of that please.
Karun correct saying if that was Kimi up against a driver from another team,. Mercedes would be screaming that he wasn't given any space.
He was alongside, if not ahead, at the apex so should've been given space
Rain tmrw so should be very interesting
