May as well throw one up to keep the discussion in the one spot.
Hopefully Ulster do the business this evening to kick off a great weekend for Irish rugby..
The TMO looked baffled at the refs decision as was I.
1 try. Unless you hold him solely responsible for us conceding a try after a mid field scrum. Also saved a try with a brilliant tackle.
Leinster arent good enough.
Same as with Ireland, anytime they come up against a bigger pack they are found out. They are one dimensional.
Bordeaux also have flair in the backs, something lacking in Leinsters backs.
Game being in Bilbao, a 4 hour drive from Bordeaux made matters worse and then you have the heat.
They never had a chance.
Leinster have been absolutely shite all season so to say they choked is lazy nonsense
What a joke of a call
Frawley has been really good in fairness. That blocking call was dreadful
That's ridiculous if true. EPRC should set the kickoff time, and the TV companies can like it or lump it.
That could have been a penalty the other way for a tackle off the ball
Plenty of joke calls today, that wasn't one or them
Well yes, he actually is ultimately is responsible for Bordeaux's second try where he kicked it dead from a restart under no pressure at all.
That’s scummy.
The EPCR final has never been in the evening so I don't believe this.
Why are you killing Byrne? There has been multiple errors from Leinster players…. They look woefully unprepared for this game
And BTW it’s TRIES!!!!!
Ryan got Ryan'd
Miss touch and then knock on at the base. There have been a raft of basic, basic errors by Leinster
Luke mcgrath comes on with his trademark bullshit knock on at the ruck, thnak god hes moving elsewhere
The only reason the Byrne argument is still going is because someone is trying to say he didn’t play badly.
Only one team out there today. Mind you they has 16 men for the most part :)
I've been as critical of errors committed by any Leinster player today. It's just that Byrne has committed the most glaring, just as he Dublin the semi final. Ultimately, it's a team effort that led to this defeat. We've been dreadful. But Byrne as an individual has been appalling.
Lucu MotM
Best French 9 this season
The is f*cking pathetic giving the ball away like that.
Even that.
One up running at the line. So depressingly predictable.
Absolutely braindead team, Kelleher you absolute fool
Appalling is a complete overreaction
He has made mistakes
Your ire should be reserved for the coaches
Just unforgivable
But he get no credit for Leinster's successes in attack? Funny how that works
Some Leinster fans made fools of themselves saying he wasn't good enough as soon as it was announced he was leaving.
Looks better than Byrne and Prendergast now.
This.
No-one seemed to be saying we lost this solely because of Byrne, I'm not sure where @AbusesToilets is getting that. But in a team of poor performers, he was terrible. It's not at all controversial to say so. He should not be our starting 10 for a big game like this.
Do any of the Leinster players get credit for the Leinster success in attack? The forwards for getting front foot ball? JGP? Or was it all little Harry?
This is a weird hill to die on
Frawley has been fearless infariness to him, all the coaching staff need the boot
