Its a uk import and appears no nct with the uncertain mileage I'll pass for now but will keep an eye on the ad.
Have they anything to back up any history, services etc?

NCT centre when doing the VRT if it's been brought in from the North. May not need an NCT just yet.
There's no NCT because it's not required to do one until October 2026.
Don't you have to do an NCT when you import from the UK? Or is that just for cars over 4 yo?
I've a gra for the Maxus T90, here's by far the cheapest I've seen. I know it has a few 'issues' but still..
No you don't, unless it's a Taxi, car can come from Timbuktu and the 4 year rule applies.
No. Only if, as you say. It’s over 4 years old. and even at that. My latest import was in march. NCT appointment is September due to back log.
Most used i4’s here are ex UK/N.I cars. Very few punters here paid out €70K+ for them new. No NCT due until October (5 months away).
Not MSport but looks like it might have some good extras? I think theres a button for heated steering wheel and the door buttons for electric seats?
You probably have to pay monthly for that button to work.

What sort of range are ya getting out of this car best case in summer and worst case in winter?
Depends on the SOH. An L40 with about 86% SOH shows 220km at 100% for me. But realistically at motorway speeds it uses 80% going Newry to Dublin which is 100km in my case.

Sometimes the bargains are the bad ads as it turns many off. I’d go view the car if I was looking and then try join the dots or walk away.
The seller hopes a vague reference to being "checked" wil inspire confidence because he/she has seen it written in other ads.
It's a figure of speech, it wasn't checked.
I picked up my Kangoo ze ,i gave most of the asking price but it is same as new.
1st impression,i am delighted with it ,The range is better then expected.I dont drive them too hard so I expect that suits.
Thanks for that Gumbo. How can I find out the SOH? Also have you a CCS converter fitted for DC charging or can an L40 do that? Can a zappi home charger charge a leaf?

A battery test from one year ago is equally as useless as one from two years ago, but thank you so much for pointing it out so I could edit my post to be more accurate.
In a private sale like this i4 it's entirely on the buyer to check it out before purchase, I wouldn't recommend to use an NCT as any kind of guarantee on anything, but with a €20k plus car like this you definitely want to invest a few quid in getting it fully checked out properly if it's not something you can do yourself.
Brilliant thanks. That L40 for €6900 might just be the introduction to EVs we need for low risk money and ideal for the multiple short runs.
Keep an eye on NI. I got a 182 Tekna with pilot pro, self drive, self park etc for €4900 a few months back.

It’s not exactly useless. It gives a SOH at a point in time. You can apply linear logic or accept that degradation is not linear and that the SOH is in that ball park.
You could argue the same about a car that has an NCT 12 months old or was serviced “last year”.
