the smell of wild garlic must be great…
Laragh cafe cat
It always is in that corner of the woods
More avoca valley, other side this time
Top of Connors pass
Conor Pass wasn't like that this morning :(
(Onto the big ring before the photo, nice attention to detail)
Here's everyone's favourite beach, slightly further west, before the weather moved in.
Foto obbligatoria.

Corbally harbour
Rather Turneresque up at the Hellfire today.
I love that stretch of the Canal off-shoot to Corbally harbour. Feels very abandoned in a good kind of way.
Somewhere in Tuscany
Some old building...
Seth, you're not even trying, no thatched roof, no nice gate. There isn't even a water pump, for feck sake.
Somewhere near Garristown
Blessington lakes
Met the Ras in Arklow.
Beara was stunning yesterday. Finally got the weather after 2 years of trying. 3rd time lucky

Sienna and Strade Bianche on approach.
No camera can do this place justice
On a Tuscany trail while off the Tuscany Trail 😁.
Yesterday at the Rás - having had a spoke go, Benjamin Fish (I think) pulled in to where we were waiting and I provided really valuable assistance while we waited ages for his team car to arrive with a spare...
View from Kippure Mast on Saturday, absolutely stunning when the sun is shining
Water levels way down on Glenasmole reservoir today. Grassy area was under water last month.
Also, don't forget to use sunscreen. Missed a bit on Sunday :)
Out along the Malahide Estuary and then onto Portmarnock beach, I'm not up to doing Howth yet but it's on my list for this year. The new Garmin radar came in very useful in the traffic around Malahide.
And the obligatory rapeseed field pic, from out near Ballyboughal
Was out and about on Saturday supporting a running challenge. The road above Glenmacnass waterfall was looking aluring!
Earlier in the day, getting from Glendalough to the Wicklow Gap, our trip in our support vehicle got held up by a bunch of cyclists thinking they owned the road, riding 50 abreast (or something)! Talk about accidentally getting the timing right. I've been wanting to watch the Ras live for years, but never managed it, only to accidentally end up at the tail of the caravan on the big climb. Twas epic watching them ascend at speed with a prime view…
Glenasmole again
Yesterday evening
Cycle down to the beach at Tossa del Mar from Girona today, absolutely stunning day, although at 38°C a killer getting back up the hill
@Seth Brundle
That's one of five round towers in Kildare. I had an interesting day visiting all five by bicycle last summer, even if the Kilashee one is a bit lame.
Free access up the Kildare one during Heritage Week, and worth a mosey.
Cycled a good part of the old Girona Gran Fondo route yesterday
Girona - Banyoles - Santa Pau - Olot - Les Planes - Sant Gregori - Girona
On a rented Wilier for the weekend, a bit cooler today at only 32°C
Passed the Gordon Bennett this morning. Very early so justva handful of arrivals.
