Eagle Rare 10 year old is 39.99 in O'Brien's. Phenomenal whiskey for that price.

How's the Barolo? I've seen decent reviews of it, but given the eyewatering prices good Barolo attracts, I'm a bit wary
I thought it wasn't great the one time I tried it
It's a nice wine as an Italian red, for €15 worth checking out to see how this vintage stacks up.
From memory, I enjoyed it but it didn't displace Ascheri Barolo from O'Briens as my goto Barolo.
The Forte Ambrone Vino Rosso for 10 euro is well worth a punt. Very drinkable.
+1 on that, rich and fruity, bit of a bargain for €10 in today's market

Saw the new gin "Another Hendricks" reviewed on Sunday Brunch last weekend and was very well regarded.

Next weekend is a bank holiday weekend, expect more deals. The price of Black Barrel, Three Swallow etc are quite high at the moment; that's usually a sign they are gearing up for a good price drop for the Bank Holiday.
No Forte Ambrone Vino Rosso in Killester SV for some reason today. The lad. in there said Killester did not have the full Italian offer range.
