Just watched MOTD, Shay Given had me shouting at the tv (again) with his view on the disallowed West Ham goal despite been an ex GK. another pundit who has it in for Arsenal for whatever reason and even made Danny Murphy sound like the voice of reason.
Given's analysis was pure whataboutery, which you might expect on here but doesn't really cut it for a TV pundit.
Yeah i feel very similar. The fact we are playing Palace away does make it that little bit more nervy.
Would be great to see Palace take points off City midweek - but that might inspire confidence. So many permutations!
Peter Schmeichel as well complaining about it on station. So did Joe Hart. Three keepers that if were still playing, would be screaming for the foul.
Carragher of all people explaining the differences between Raya foul yesterday and the so called fouls on Martinez and that Utd keeper from first day of the season. Hes not shy about criticising Arsenal, so fair dues to him for not showing bias for once.
Carragher was really good with that segment.
You'd almost swear that they had some alligence to Man City, like maybe they were former players or something? Oh wait …………………………. It's beyond petty. So pathetic.
Given just hates Arsenal. That comes through any time he discusses the club. Not sure what we did to him at all😂
Beat him in a cup final a long time ago springs to mind
Didn't buy him when he was looking to get out of Newcastle. Think it was probably during the Almunia/Fabianski days where Arsenal were in need. One of those "sources close to the player" type things had Given saying "Wenger doesn't want me"
The most likely reason of course is that he's told by the production team that the stance he was to take was that the goal should've stood. TV needs conflict otherwise people don't watch.
the media companies have to have people on both sides of the fence for sports otherwise it’s not worthy of a click bait clip or headline and then seen as biased
The story I heard back in the day was that Shay Given eventually told Wenger, he wanted to be loyal & stay at Newcastle. Maybe he had concerns about his family & the upheaval of moving to London? There was serious talk of him signing at the time.
St Martin Odegaard, a detailed analysis of a brilliant move & assist.

White out for the season according to Ornstein. Think that was always going to be the case really.
So we've 3 just win games with no recognised RB in the squad. 😬
I thought the Champions League final would be hard without Timber, going to be much worse without White too.
Very unfortunate.
I feel for Ben White, he's been very unlucky with injuries and looked to be coming back to some kind of form.
I've always kind of liked him as well. When Cherki started with the keepy uppy nonsense in the LC final, White made sure to kick him the next chance he got. I respect that.
So there's a wee chance -

If it's on that website, it's probably made up and not even remotely true
Am calling it now. City are going to be edgy as hell after Sunday and will drop points tonight!
Nah, Palace in final preparation mode, wont try a leg tonight, 3-0 city.
Can't see any other outcome than City turning Palace inside out. We live in hope, but I don't expect anything tonight.
I too believe we'll have to win our two remaining games.
Though, maybe, given City's worrying capacity to just stay in the title race when it looks like they might be out of it - last minute equaliser against Everton, Liverpool collapsing in the final ten minutes at Anfield, labouring against Brentford before suddenly scoring three - they might labour to it at times, but will eventually get the job done.
you would expect city to get the three points this evening really
I can't see City losing tonight, but next Wednesday against Bournemouth who are looking to get into Europe, they will have played twice since Bournemouth played, including possibly extra time and penalties in the Cup Final, while Bournemouth will have had 9 days off. That is the game where they are vulnerable.
Will be anti-climatic if we win the title that day.
So if City draw or lose tonight, then Arsenal can win the league at home by beating Burnley.
someone told me palace are 9/1 tonight
Shortened somewhat with PaddyPower - Palace were 12/1 earlier today.
It would be absolutely f'in brilliant if we win it on Tuesday.
Could the rest any players who have a knock for the Palace game and take no risks whatsoever.
Also takes away the potential torture on 24th
Also WE WOULD HAVE WON THE LEAGUE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
