Rice possibly holding in the box. Both must have been at it
Awful game. Massive result. Thank fook
Have to say I'm Odegaard's biggest critic but he pulled it out the the bag there. Epic stuff.
please please win the last two games handy enough, genuinely the heart and mind can’t take that again. I’ll get a doctors note if needed!!
Said it all season, Ødegaard when fit keeps Eze on the bench
That felt like much longer! Time stood still!
Didn't get to watch any of that. Glad, looked like absolute torture.
Arteta blessed his shocking Rice to RB decision will be consigned to history and forgotten.
Torture, ecstasy, torture,ecstasy.
Standard Arsenal game
What the hell was he thinking...
jeez Ode’s assist gets better every time I see it
We were never going to make it easy, but Jesus Christ that was pure torture.
The save from Raya was the turning point
Anyone who thinks that's not a foul on Raya hasn't a clue
COYG
BUT WHATABOUT SOMETHING THAT HAPPENED 9 MONTHS AGO??????
Worst season evah omg
Yeah i know that is probably dominating the general pl thread, but the two incidents not comparable. Raya jersey clearly pulled and then the west ham player clearly holding raya hands down preventing him having a comfortable catch.
The incident 9 months ago was piss poor keeping.
Yep. Absolute madness. A crazy decision that very very nearly cost us the title in all honesty. The majority of the game was spent course correcting that utter brain fart.
I honestly cannot comprehend that decision. He owes Trossard, Ode and Raya a massive thank you
These things irritating others just makes it so much more enjoyable
It's stuff like that (plus the risk averse shite that is so frustrating and nervy to watch) which makes me want to scream at the club for offering him a new contract before we win anything. I understand from a business perspective but from a footballing one… if he signs a new deal and we end up without a trophy there are going be serious questions asked
Think that Raya save at 0-0 was the Son against Ortega moment. It was that big. Players ultimately bailed Arteta out there, but everyone needs some luck.
My hope is once he gets a PL win he’ll evolve a bit more. I think the weight on him and the club weighs a little
If we win the PL I think we’ll be a bit more next year
Have to agree with you, Declan gets through so much midfield work that’s just taken for granted and moving him from that role was crazy with trust worthy defenders on the bench who have done well this season. Mikel is causing a lot of the panic in the players on the field and gives the vibe he doesn’t trust the players to go out and win games. Two more games to go. One team will be trying to get a little bit of pride and hoping the drop down won’t ruin them as players and contracts.Palace players are playing for a place in a cup final squad and will be up for it.
Yeah been listening to a few football podcasts the past year or so involving ex pros etc. The first title is the hardest to win, was the case with Man City, Liverpool etc. Once we get this one over the line, it might be a game changer.
The conspiracy theorists are out in force. Love it
It's absolute torture for us to keep winning games in this kind of fashion but also objectively hilarious how much it pisses off certain other fans out there.
Just please God get over the fúcking line now.
It shouldn't be forgotten though. It was a schoolboy mistake and leaves big doubts about Arteta. Also the style of play and the lack of balls from some of the players. This was such an important match and some players were going down under very little instead of getting stuck in. That really annoyed me today. I took ages to settle down after the game because I was so disappointed over the performance from manager and many players. I'm still not overly convinced that we will win the last two games.
It is for a lot of them.
Jesus, my nerves. I could be on a trolley in A&E before this season is out.
Come on Tayto, you weren't annoyed at full time. Surely was more relief than anything. I've been on this forum on and off the last 15 or so years. And youre a poster I remember the most. We've seen so much shite. 2 games away from the big one. 3 away from the most successful season in club history.
Obviously I was delighted when we won but tell me that you were happy with that performance in such an important match.
I actually feel like I’ve just done a 2 hour gym session and an hour in the escape rooms after that
I’ll sleep like a baby tonight
