Am I the only idiot who keeps forgetting we have a game tonight?
I'm sure you'll be fine with me saying that post aged liked milk 😁
Brentford and Bournemouth fighting to get into Europe for the first time ever.
It's all about the Premier League for me.
I think staying in Premier League is likely to give more incentive to players TBH, its a fair drop in salary if you are relegated and it stays on your CV :)
I would take a loss tonight if we were guaranmteed to win our next 3 games.
Bonuses for getting into Europe exist too.
The West Ham game will be difficult, but if City drop points to Brentford before it, it won't matter as much.
Really?
We are on the cusp of something potentially very special for our club.
A lot of high pressure football should put us in good stead for the double, provided the lads can stay injury free.
Looks likely Odegaard and Havertz will both be available for tonight.
Still no sign of Timber unfortunately.
No way, go and win all games and not loose like the cup games, it’s about winning and the FA cup game showed a mental weakness which kills a team, go back to the invincible team it was mental strength that ground out results and the players and manager strength that has them in history.
Hopefully Eze starts tonight and not Odegarrd and back to the slow boring football that Simone will thrive against. Go and attack like the play on Saturday.
Tonight's game is live is on Premier Sports 1 and Amazon Prime Video. COYG
Not a chance anyone should accept a loss
Lose tonight and the wheels could fall off completely with team spirit, keep the winning momentum going, the players believe in themselves and fans should be backing 5 from 5 including the final
bloody hell 😂
We might never get this close to the CL final again… go & win it FFS!! Get to the final & anything can happen.
In fact I think if we get through tonight we will win it.
Yeah couldn't be any happier to be wrong. 💪🤣
Same team as Saturday. Hopefully similar result. But any win will do!
Havert and Odegaard back in the match day squad. So very strong bench if needed
Something wrong with Zubimendi?
Hes on the bench. Assuming MLS gets the nod because of his impressive performance Saturday.
Not sure about that, one good game versus Fulham and all of a sudden he's starting as a midfielder for the second time ever in a Champions League semi final? He's easily wound up too, and no better team to target that than Atelti.
Yeah, MLS is very good at receiving the ball under pressure, but he wasn't under a lot of pressure the other day. My fear would be if he loses the ball and does something rash trying to recover.
In any case, Zubi looked really good when he came on the other day. Good to see him getting a bit of rest.
Didn't think Arteta had it in him to name that team. A definite shift in his mentality there. Delighted for MLS. Equally delighted Odegaard hasn't managed to sneak his way into the starting 11.
yeah feels like the Fulham game opened the door to how we used to play and Arteta and the players believe in themselves again. At least I hope so!
what an atmosphere
Agree we won’t get a better chance of a final! And we will have the better defence in the final whatever about attack.
I know someone at it and I’m very jealous!
MLS in the midfield is a massive call, more like something Wenger would have done. Arteta really fighting against his own instincts with that one I think. Let’s hope it pays off.
Hes playing well to be fair
Crucial tackle from Rice.
Game already feels tense.
I wanna see more from Eze. Still early but he doesn't seem to be getting into the game at all
