You would think when they spend, I guess a couple of mil€ developing something like this, that they might pop a solar array on one of their many roofs. Probably a reasonable energy demand over the property. But maybe there is a rich person exemption to those sorts of concerns.

I can smell the damp looking at it, the roof looks like the weight isn't properly supported (to my untrained eye).
What a sad looking house - reminds me of that religious place in the shape of a cross that was put up here recently. I wonder if the water ingress was simply originating at that fancy feature at the peak of the roof, above the tiles. Must be some story to go with that house, given the oddities like the broken oven door, splashes of paint or bird crap on the ground, repaired wall around the curtain pole etc etc…
A beautiful period house in Ballisodare, Co Sligo. It's right in the town which maybe is not ideal, it's a busy spot for traffic outside those gates. The has has been sold in 2012, 2013, 2019 and up for sale again now so no one is staying very long

That's beautiful, some questionable carpet, wallpaper and purple paint aside, but it's very overlooked for the price and there will be a lot of traffic noise in the gardens. Must cost a fortune to heat too.

That is a superb house. I personally like the wallpaper choices, but not the dark blues, reds and purples. The garden is spacious and has a lot of potential. That’s a lot of house for the price. In spite of the fact it has gone through a number of systems updates over two centuries for heating, electricity, and plumbing, everything fits nicely.
