Lads, anyone hear rumours, that Tacco Bell is coming to Tullamore?
I saw it mentioned somewhere but cant see any confirmation. The old burger kind would be ideal for it
Yea, that's where I heard its going. Nothing official anywhere about it though
Has anyone been to Walsh's since it opened/reopened?
I haven't but I've heard it's grand. Not somewhere you'd go for a sesh as it's probably too small. It's smaller than Paddy's up the town.
I'll have to pop in for a pint and check it out so. It looks tiny from the outside.
Between Eugene's and the Harbour Bar for me, as the best pub in town. I still have a few more to check out including Walsh's.
Actually had a pint in Walsh's at the weekend, thought it was a decent Guinness.
Like that, not a huge pub inside. Was about half full, 4 or 5 o clock on the Saturday
Lads, where would a lad get a good fry in town on a Sunday morning?
Last fry I had was in the Phoenix, and that was ok. Used to do a good one in King Oak, but not sure if they do food any more.
Flynn’s across from the Bridge house do a good breakfast. They’ve a seating area upstairs.
Never thought of there. Thanks
Try Maunsells out by Tesco - if their carvery is anything to go by, the fry should be top notch.
Second for Flynns, great fry up
Never tried it for breakfast. Worth a try for sure
I see Walsh's pub have reverted back to it's original name, Annie Kelly's. It hardly spent a month under its new moniker.
Spotted that alright - unusual move. Maybe putting back up the original signage in an effort to appease their predecessors clientele…
It's being leased by the Walsh's to one of the fella behind Tom & Gerry's in Ballinagar which probably is why they changed the name back
When I saw the sign in the window that said "serving stouts and beers" that was a red flag. Stout is type of beer. I will go in over the Christmas but I don't see them overing anything different from any other pub in town. From a drinks perspective every pub is a near carbo copy. The fact that Carryout has the best craft beer selection outside of the cities clearly shows there is a market for craft beer in Tullamore , for a town of its size the craft beer offerings in the pubs is quite pathetic
Seems to be confirmed that it’s Wendy’s that’s coming.

Is this better or worse than Taco Bell?
Will be taking up the former Burger King premises
Lads, anyone know if there's any Vinted pick up points in Tullamore?
Tesco, the day-today garage (think it's Emo) and the post office itself
Cheers, thanks for that
Phoenix Bar and Venue recently shut down by Customs and Excise….unlikely it will ever open again under current management.
