No, the drivers Boots. 😉
€16K Ex-Taxi ID.4 with high mileage. Might be worth a low ball offer ?https://www.donedeal.ie/view/41980490
I knew of a 221 ID4 taxi with over 300k fo for €10k. I thought that was expensive!
You wonder how hard a life battery wise all these taxis had. You might end up with a brick of car needing a full new battery.
Take this id4 with a few dodgy cells highly likely it's an ex taxi. Even at this price I don't think it's a good deal. Probably lots of fast charging saying 2 to 3 cells gone. I wouldn't be too hopeful the rest of the battery is in good shape. The only up shot I can think of is maybe the battery being covered by a recall.

Given its a 5 year old car, maybe a good used HV battery from a breakers or a repair by replacing several cells would give such a vehicle a 2nd life. Otherwise it’s just a breaker with a good front.
I'd say that particular one was crashed 180,000km in 5 years is 36,000km a year. No taxi driver does such low mileage
2 year NCT as well so probably not a taxi
On the add it says “Pre accident E19K”- so yes was crashed
Missed that part thanks 👍
Well I assume “crashed”- unless it was driven into a river or something by “accident”. I can’t see where it was crashed though from those pictures- maybe under body damage?
Crashed with battery damaged and repairs to the non-battery element? Or maybe left in salthill promenade car park during a flood warning
Thats stupid money for the mileage.
I think the taxi driver will get a 10k grant towards a new car anyway and 2.5k for scrapping this one so he's trying for another 3.5k while the war in Iran is ongoing
Not entirely a bargain but not too bad a price either, especially if you are into Minis:

I couldn't live with all those yellow bits, but I am not exactly their target audience anyway.
You'd have to wrap that front grill it's crossed the line 😄😄
2017 Ioniq 87kms €6950

Nope, he would get €17,500 if scrapping so he’s actually better off financially to scrap it. Be a shame to see it scrapped though.
Nice cars. I enjoyed the Mini Cooper S JCW I had many a year ago. If I didn’t need the back doors, I’d have no issue driving one of these.
Hard to believe they’ve been going 9 years - seems like yesterday that a few boardsies here were praising the Ionic - I didn’t look at pictures but assuming it everything is as it should be for the year, that’s a great bit of car for that money
Hence why I suggested a low ball offer. Bear in mind, most used ID.4’s are €20K+ asking other than City models or high milers.

Good price?
Wouldn’t think so given the price of a new one.
Your forgetting COVID.
And they could be a part time driver.
Rates reduce per year every old that the replacement car is.
Near €10k cheaper than a new one. €10k hair cut in just over 6 months!
Ya didn't they go up this year too , afaik
RRP includes grant is €46885 on the BYD website. I’m not seeing a €10K saving unless delivery on a new one is mega bucks. It’s a 2025 plated car with €13K Km’s and is 8 months old. I’m not seeing any value in it. Similar 2025 Seals in N.I are £31K

Serious spend on parts needed to get this one back on the road.
€48,835 for a new RWD after delivery charges are applied.
Reasonable price then all things considered.
