Their president has said the same. Settlements are cornerstone of zionism. If anyone has muddled the definition of zionism it is the israeli government.
So the PM should sit back and let people attack synagogues is that what you are saying?
so what do you think the RAF was doing? Highlighting to the IDF where Palestinian children were so they could shoot them in the head?
I’m sure a military that can take out the Iranian leadership with relative ease or can make Hezbollah’s pagers magically explode is quite capable of providing its own intelligence.
What's mentally, (and societally) unhealthy is going to bat for anyone who has acted with inaction in stopping a genocide.
The Middle East is a literal war zone that has negatively impacted the planet for most of my life. Much of it partly because of the influence that the current Israeli PM has had on successive US Presidents.
Some ignore/excuse/downplay/support/encourage/applaud (somewhere along this scale) Israel's actions, that's their right I suppose. I'm going to continue highlighting them and those who failed to act when they could and should to make the world a safer place.
I'm more interested in advocating that the State of Palestine continues to exist as it is slowly but surely being eradicated than adding my voice in support of the side that has most western powers ensuring it not only exists, but is protected from accountability.
The fact that they can and did both of these things while destroying every inch of Gaza and killing probably north of 100k people is precisely why those of us are disgusted with the behavior of the Israeli state and every elected official in our respective countries who defend their actions.
and when did the UK’s first prime minister to formally recognise the state of Palestine defend Israeli actions?
Starmer has packed his cabinet with prominent right wing Labour Friends of Israel types : David Lammy, Yvette Cooper, Rachel Reeves, Wes Streeting etc (and he himself is a member of course). That can hardly be a coincidence. Not to mention his link to Mandelson and McSweeney.
The Israeli state within it's 1967 borders is patently obviously not what Israel is today.
Israel today, having carved off portions of Lebanon, Syria, the Palestinian West Bank, Gaza is acting like a fully Zionist entity.
Anyone who supports this seizure of "Lebensraum" is in my view, behaving like a Zionist.
For gods sake he's talking about ARSON attacks.
He might have been taking heed of Kemi Badenoch when she said that if these attacks were targeting black communities their would be much more outrage about them in the media, which might explain why you think they're not worth mentioning. What arson attacks like.
Arson attack on property where nobody was injured or killed and that's the second time in two or three days he tweeted about this incident : while making sure to mention "anti-Semitism" yet again. Does he ever talk or tweet about any other types of racism?
One never gets the impression he is deeply distressed about anything that happens to the black, Muslim, Sikh, Indian populations etc. The black population of Britain is more than ten times bigger than the Jewish one and they surely face way more day-to-day racism and bigotry across the country than most Jewish people.
Maybe you should do a little more research

It is like the last days of the Johnson government, treating the public as if they are buttoned up the back
Anti-Semitism is very real, but the level of racial abuse, harassment and active discrimination that people from other ethnic minorities receive is of a much different order, especially those who are not white and living in deprived areas. The majority of British Jewish people are well educated and middle class and do not on the whole face active discrimination in their lives (that is not an "anti-Semitic" statement, merely a statement of fact…….a Jewish party leader like Zack Polanski makes similar unpopular points about the 'anti-Semitism in Britain' issue).
Also, nobody seems to want to discuss that the rising incidence of anti-Semitism in the West is almost certainly directly linked to the activities of the terrorist / rogue state of Israel - a state which claims that Judaism and far right Zionism are one and the same thing. Constantly bringing up the issue of anti-Semitism in Britain seems to have the unstated aim of trying to dampen down criticism of Israel.
Rich from a poster who thinks anyone who speaks out against Israel is an antisemite.
Prove it.
Arson attacks in which thankfully no one is injured, clearly targeted at a minority group are in fact a bad thing that should be highlighted and condemned.
Absolutely should be condemned but where is the consistency? I did not spot the UK Prime Minister tweeting on social media or issusing a statement to condemn the arson attack last year on this school below which thankfully no one was injured. I wonder why that is?

That poster doesn't need to prove anything.
Only you know for sure what your thought process is, irrespective of what it is, all of us who post here can expect that our posts are leading to people forming opinions of us.
Some will rush to judgement, the majority form opinions over extended periods. Same as in the real world.
Yes they do. That's a barefaced lie and they know full well that it is.
See how that works?
It's their claim so the onus is on them.
Mad how some people think antisemitism is acceptable.
Mod: settle right down folks & put the handbags away!

This isn't casual racism we're talking about here, it's actually terrorism, orchestrated abroad and carried out by local criminals. Oh but yeah, nobody died.
New YouGov poll for London local elections shows a confusing and fragmented which, while disastrous for Labour in % terms, could still see them hold onto pluralities of the vote in many or even most of the 21 boroughs they currently control, thanks to FPTP which still applies unlike in mayoral and assembly elections. Since 2022 Lab are down from 42% to 26%, the Greens up from 12% to 22%, Tories down from 22% to 17%, LD's up just slightly at 15%, and Reform fifth on 14% and overwhelmingly concentrated in a few eastern outer boroughs.
YouGov’s MRP of the 2026 London local elections shows close races in many boroughs
Most of the boroughs look set to have hung councils, probably forcing Lab and the Greens to share power in some, which may be an interesting template for the future at Westminster.
It would be interesting to see similar polls for the likes of Liverpool and particularly Manchester which also looks likely to be a Lab-Green dogfight.
Elsewhere, Scotland looks all but over (SNP returned to power with a much reduced % vote, thanks to the fragmentation of the unionist vote) and Wales is a Reform/Plaid Cymru dogfight - again probably resulting in some variation of a PC/Lab/Green/LD coalition (Welsh Senadd seats are to be allocated strictly proportionately to share of vote, apparently).

Arrests of locals = actual terrorism orchestrated abroad in your worldview
Here are the polls and trend for the Scottish parliament election.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Opinion_polling_for_the_2026_Scottish_Parliament_election
I had two knocks on my door during this election (Monica Lennon, Labour months ago and Claire Haughey, SNP today). The SNP will be getting my vote even though they have done very little to move the independence cause along. No chance will I be voting for the London HQ parties.
Huh? I haven't expressed any worldview, I merely highlighted what was reported in the link I provided.
You asserted 'This isn't casual racism we're talking about here, it's actually terrorism, orchestrated abroad and carried out by local criminals.'
I'll make sure to make it clear in future that I'm referring to what was reported in the media (even when I provide a link which is a clue) lest anyone think I'm making assertions gained from personal involvement.
Keep on doing your best to minimise antisemitism. Shows the true colours time and again
