I got it about two weeks back in a Dublin store, having not seen it for a while. I find it tends to vanish around Christmas each year.
thanks - will ask a manager next time i'm in one.. I don't like the LIDL one - too much mustard in it.. Ballymaloe lacks texture now - love that about the ALDI one.

Has anyone seen Aldi's hot honey lately? I've looked for weeks now & can't seem to find it
I saw it in Lidl and Dunnes recently but not Aldi.
I usually make my own. I buy the honey and use dried habernero flakes. I usually use 2 good spoons of chilli. Keep it on the lowest simmer you can for a few mins and pour it thru a tea strainer whilst still warm. I prefer my own cos I can control the heat. A glass jar of honey is easier than the bottle for refilling.
I picked up a jar in Mullingar during the week. It's very nice and I prefer it to Ballymaloe.

Was doing a steak the other night and the leftover Chinese chips I was planning on using had gotten squished so I took a punt on the Aldi ready made mash from the fridge, holy crap it was fecking lovely! will definitely be using it again when feeling lazy and trying the other ones in that section.
Slightly O/T, but the Dunnes own brand ready made mash is even better, it's properly lush!

Sometimes get this chilli smashed avocado for a change to the plain version as I like spicy food.

Ive tried a lot of frozen fruit and Aldi raspberries give the most flavour.
I use in a breville blend active for breakfast smoothies with oranges, oats and peanut butter.
The tiramisu pots are lovely, particularly the chocolate and hazelnut one.
Also a big fan of the spicy smashed avocado mentioned above.
I absolutely do not recommend the macaroni and cheese ready meal - it's inedible.
I'm kind of addicted to Aldi's Brie de Meaux…
Great rec here this stuff is delicious, better than what I make from scratch, no need to add butter either its perfect out of the pack. I can have steak and mash and peas on the table in 10 minutes with this.
These crackers are great, really crunchy and crisp, v tasty
It's probably about 50% butter already 🤣
Twice the energy & 4 times the fat per 100g as the mash direct version.
And 4 times the deliciousness - sometimes it's just worth it!
I actually find the SV signature tastes one a decent midpoint between calories & lushness! Pricey so only get it on offer.
You need to add half a block of butter to that one though!
Are ye microwaving or oven cooking the mash? The only one I've ever tried came out very dry from the oven (Dunnes Baxter&Greene) and I don't have a microwave. I love mash, but find it's just not worth the hassle as a solo diner, so it would be great to find an easy option.
