Prima Facie sold out in about four minutes. I know it was the Gaiety but I was surprised with no queue or waiting room.
Great news for consumers.
Next step is to break them up.
no chance of that sadly. Fines and consent decrees on certain business practices found to be unlawful.
Got tickets today for Bleachers, really looking forward to seeing them live.
Well if Simon can still tour then Garfunkel can too
Got two tickets for The Strokes handy enough through the MCD sale. Just hope the new album is better than the new single :D
Same, although waiting room didnt let me in till 10.02, then couldn't select tix as map didnt load, then eventually got past that and wasnt getting notification to confirm payment on AIB app.
Was very surprised at such a small queue, started at 316, then got in quickly enough
I had the same issue. I was allowed in but it wouldn't load. I took the risk and tried again. Second time it loaded up in the app instead of the browser and let me in. Queue in front of me first time was only 16 people. Happy enough.
Don't think it'll be a 2 night stint anyway if pre-sales are this easy to come by
Standing seems to be gone already but that's probably usual as this is the 3rd presale
Could not get a mcd presale standing
Yeah, me neither. Will try again tomorrow
I got presale standing. Was 70 in the queue but was very quick. I had the ticket about 2 mins later. Delighted
I was 2000 in the queue at 10am and didn't get a ticket until 11am. Not sure what was going on for me as others didn't seem to have the issues I did.
GOINGSHOPPING is the code for spotify presale for the strokes if any use?
People not going shopping for tickets as hoped.
Reminds me of when Yeah yeah years did a double with Beck and could not move them.
Sometimes nostalgia doesn't shift tickets
I’m sure it will get there, pricing especially of the seats is deffo between 40 and 50 too high
Ah, they are still pretty big, way beyond those of us who were around for the first two records. Sure the last album did really well.
Some of the seats are just mad prices I think.
last album was really good tbf. 230(???) for front row seated balcony tickets is absolute insanity though. im sure i paid around 90ish for AM in similar seats 3 years back. ticket inflation is never ending.
I assume that 230 is VIP crapola? Had a look again for pre-sale out of curiosity, the lower seats were solely VIP. So would reduce in price closer to the gig if not sold
Still only presale. Looks like most of the presale seats are gone. Still general sale to go tomorrow morning too
Dalkey Book Festival went on sale today
If u think TM , 3+, Promoter, artist presales are carnage then try grabbing a tick for one of their hot events
Luckily got the talk i wanted (Rory Carroll on Roger Casement)
Not a schniff of a S Rushdie tick about the place
I’d say alot of those celeb events McWilliams holds back majority for sponsors etc.
Anyone looking at the ASIWYFA/Caspian gig in Opium, tickets are already up on TM for €32.65 but Whelan's have them listed at €30 from tomorrow morning. Every little helps 😋

Love the Strokes but not paying 350 quid for 2 tickets. Nope, no way. Will try general sale tomorrow.
2 for 1 tickets for kasabian
https://www.ticketmaster.ie/event/18006435C6F3D3E7?did=reffo
They need to call it a day, since Tom was rightly kicked out, its been trash after trash.
33 euro for 2 tickets, you'd pay nearly as much to see a Kasabian Tribute band.
Cheers mate!
It's effectively 33 each, thry were 60 odd hence 33 each is same as BOGOF
Dead right. I'll leave it till the week before, see can I pick something up last minute.
Tuesday night is a shite night for a gig in Fairview
