I've just realised I never followed this thread despite applying. Aside from an acknowledgement I have received no other communication, on my public jobs account it says application in progress. Can I assume they are going by location maybe?
I don't think anyone has heard yet?
Oh I was reading about online tests in some posts there and OOM, maybe I skim read - I am having one of those days so very possible I misread them

The option to add towns in your location was there.
****, I didn’t do that. Just selected Dublin. Definitely wouldn’t be able to commute to the likes of Citywest or Blanch. For some reason the town option didn’t appear after I selected my county. I reviewed my application several times before submitting.
Additional information for me only had things like my sexuality and gender etc
Weird, mine only allowed me to select Dublin and no further breakdown
have you applied before or were a temporary CO before? Are you sure you’re looking at the 2026 Permanent CO comp.
Definitely am looking at right comp (not my application though!)
Maybe it was only available for certain counties
I was also able to put town locations into my county.
those who were able to put locations within your county, are you outside of Dublin? I selected Dublin and didn’t see a secondary location option

Yes I'm outside of Dublin. Must be just the Dublin location that didn't have the option.

It's a sad day for 2024 panel. I was next in line , I interviewed and ready but no jobs
4 jobs came up for the lifetime of the panel for Monaghan.

What assessment did everyone do that they are waiting for OOM results?
You get an OOM for CO based on a couple situational questions and answer to questions

No, I think you're fine. I filled out the application correctly, didn't make any mistakes and haven't heard anything since. I imagine they will probably email you when they need new information, but you can keep a close eye on the Publicjobs messages just in case.
mine says application in progress. Also mentions next stage - online assessment
just checked and I’ve sent all info and the small tests. Mine is saying application in progress for some reason. Very weird
