New thread as the last thread seems to be broken.
That's that then.
No excitement ever. We must all live sh*t, miserable lives 24/7.
Bore off, lads. Anyone giving a sh*te about 'hype' are the type who want Irish teams to lose because they dare to achieve something.
Yeah it's a friendly now
The Danes would have ran through us worse than when they came here as Vikings.
Ah he wasn't close to decent. Was brought on to get crosses in and all his balls were high and weak. His corners were sh!te too.
Really should have beat them tonight, says alot about how far the teams come though tbf. Fcuking sickener but hopefully we keep growing.
Just saw the replay for the free that second goal came from. The linesman fucked us on that. Never a free kick in a million years
Nearly forgot the Molumby shot and the great save from the Parrot header.
Azaz and Browne never again. Cut all ties immediately.
Tony is a knob
In life if you have a chance to have fun and enjoy yourself then why not.
Thats very true
Yes, but also the first time
With each passing week of watching football, the people who run the game are doing their very best to make me fall out of love with it
Good to hear
**** sake so what? This kind of rubbish is infuriating - why shouldn't we report on potential success? If we'd won the whole place would be rocking next week. nothing like an Irish begrudger
Lol their 19 was a farce. Dive foul moan repeat! Was disappointed he came off.
I won't profess to following our national team with much fandom, but Jason Knight has more minutes for Ireland and for his club this year than Alan Browne, who last played for Ireland in 2024 before tonight. Why did the latter come off the bench and Knight didn't see any time?
I wonder had they had shootouts before that.
Just get John O'Shea away from our national teams please
I was only saying to my wife before the game at least it won’t be a poor ref decision because of VAR. Jinxed us.
No you mis-heard, rewind it back
Absolutely… I think some are getting caught up in the vibes of that period they penned us back for a bit - but the Czechs were creating nothing. We were dealing with that pressure really well. It was actually like the inverse of some of our past games from the 20-22 period where we're chasing something, slinging in balls, but ultimately not causing any problems.
Even the free they were given that they scored from was us dealing really well with them and playing our way out of trouble, but with them inexplicably being given a free for absolutely nothing.
Was a fairly balanced game, and tbh — as you say — i'd give us the edge in terms of quality and chances made. Hit the post, hit the crossbar, and needed a wonder-save from Parrott's header. By contrast Coimhin had little to do.
go home lads with yeer boring same old song or 2
Yeah look at the body language of say Browne to the Czech lad who took the winning penalty.
Szmodics was put on to take a penalty. I'd have backed him if he was on to make it 4/4.
And our penalty was never a penalty. Swings and roundabouts
VAR is for the money men, not the fans.
Hundreds of tickets up now for Tuesday's game on ticketmaster
Sickening.
awful, awful take.
You're talking like that was the only game in it. Would have had another tough fixture against the Danes on Tuesday. Tougher still, most likely.
