.
I wonder if the car is ordered before Q1 end do they honour the 0.99% terms even if deliver is for some date in the summer?
In the past they generally have honoured all order-time conditions/commitments.
But who knows.
With the trade in boost is it €3500 + whatever they give you for your car be that 5, 10, 20k etc.
yea exactly, could be €200 car and they’d give you €3500 + €200. Order has to be in before end of the month not necessarily delivered according to the rep I was chatting to the other day.
thanks for confirming.
For what's it's worth I was told today that if a better offer was to come in this upcoming quarter say from 1st April the trade in booster is increased to €4500 you would get that amount even if you put the deposit down in March to lock March trade in booster.
good to know, if I reject the current trade in offer on the app, I’ll get my deposit back?
That's what several folks have heard, and what I experienced from a transaction I backed out of last year when trade in value moved too much for my liking.
That's what happened with me early last year, trade in dropped at end of month and I cancelled and got my deposit back. But I did deal over the phone with a human at Cork.
I missed to check this with the sales advisor - is the 250 euro deposit refundable in case we change our mind or choose to go with another car due to delay in delivery etc?
They say it's non refundable but, apparently, because of EU consumer law on distance selling, you shouldn't have any issue getting it back.
This is only true if you haven't test driven the car or booked a showroom visit.
Presume you'd have to have driven the car you've a deposit on? I had a test drive in the old "premium" but bought the new standard RWD. Good to know anyway
How good is your source, there’s a blue awd with white interior there at the moment, if I thought it was 1k cheaper Wednesday I’d hold out…
I just meant in general if trade in booster changes and is better you could still avail of it. I was just using a figure of €4000 as an example but no idea and not been told by anybody it's going to change for better or worse.
They tell you to put deposit down now and that they don't know if current trade in booster will be applied in April if you wait until then to place the €250 deposit down. The same for PCP rate of 0.99%.
I would assume though that they would know both by now.
You probably know this, but just to flag that the €3.5k trade-in booster only applies if you are buying for cash (or financing it yourself), not availing of Tesla finance.
If anyone is selling a Tesla Model 3 OEM roofrack will you please pm me. Thanks.
No, it just needs to be same model. Minor spec level differences doesn't alter this as long as you're informed what the differences are between your test model and ordered model.
Ok, good to know, thanks!
Picked up the new car today RWD LR, very happy so far
As soon as I see a pic, I click like..😊
Looks great in SG, well wear.
Loving my Model 3 so far. Love the acceleration, the minimalistic cabin, the space, the upgrade in tech (coming from a 2015 Tucson!), the cameras, Sentry mode, one pedal driving, and how cheap it is to fill 😂
I've only done 400km but range is about 13.8kw/100km. About 435km average, 100-0%. Could definitely stretch that out a bit if I needed to.
The only things I'm not 100% on are the screen, which I think could do with a slight angle towards the driver. Would make it easier to see, and touch, the far left of the screen. Also finding the seats a bit "flat". What I mean by that is, I find going around corners that I'm sliding a little... I'm not looking for bucket seats but a little more padding maybe? Or maybe I haven't found the right seat position yet, I do find myself moving it slightly every few days.
Unbelievable car for the money, especially with the 3.5k trade in booster.
Screen swivel kit available if it bugs you - can probably be got even cheaper shopping around, easy enough fitting too apparently.Good luck -
lovely car alright.👍
Looks well @pm.
With the sales booster I don't think there's a better value car in the country.
Interestingly the seats in the standard version appear possibly more supportive. Very subjective I know but perhaps the premium fabric holds the occupant slightly better?
Had seen that but other than a few inserts I don't want to start adding anything aftermarket. Not a big deal, just my thoughts on something that could be made slightly better.
Your front seat passenger may not agree.
Or my front seat passenger may agree.
Your front seat passenger doesn't want to see the screen, adjust their seat, change the music, follow the navigation, or modify the airflow? Etc.
I've been very lucky. Only ordered the standard 3 on March 3rd but got a call from Tesla on Saturday morning saying they had a cancellation (bog standard) that matched my order - because i had no trade in and was paying in cash they could allocate the VIN to me.
Funny thing is i wasn't paying in cash, i had just selected the cash option for the time being in the app. But he said he would allocate it to me anyway if i could get the finance sorted on Monday.
Monday came and it was all done and dusted in a few hours and picked up the car this morning :)
Yeah there are things that are missing but the value for money is incredible these days considering i paid 53k for the bog standard rwd in September 2022. Personally i prefer the exterior design of the 2022 model and in white in particular.
But for almost 17k less, this is a class car for the money.
That's a great deal you got there. Wear it well.
