LOL, for a "hanger on account" they have quite a few job openings.
I heard from a few channels (not from anything Tesla) that the RDW has already made the decision last month to allow FSD supervised in NL. But that formally announcing it will not happen this month, but in Q2. Likely next month. Nothing but rumours obviously, but will shall see.
id be surprised if this isnt granted, im not sure why you are so adamant it wont be, amazing.
Your few channels are X accounts and reddit
Let's be honest
Adamant ?
I'm trying to put these various claims that have been going on for 12 months into context. From the bullying of staff via social media last year and the constant bombardment of when the decisions will be made directly from Tesla accounts on X. Surely a sane person would understand they game that they are up to .
It's war by social media to get an outcome they want. Plainly.
Plain in your opinion, but the end game could also be for benefit of road safety and not to mention for benefit of Tesla's customers too.
Some users have described FSD being the greatest luxury of all. Personally I can't wait to get my hands off the wheel if I feel like it.
listermint, it's a lovely day outside, is this really the best use of your time?
Yeah I like that description of the greatest luxury of all. A bit of magic even and the feeling of sitting in the future. Like nothing else I have ever experienced. I have known a long time (many decades) this was coming (self driving in general, not Tesla in particular), have looked forward to it. And now it is here.
Well ya, I'm working (in this space) and following along with the news and updates .
Why do people not like context of the 'latest news' ? It's getting to the point where people take a twitter post as gospel, i find that a bit sad for people's ability to process information or question it's validity.
Why are you here? (On such a nice day)
I don't know where they came from. Got sent to me. I rarely even look at X or reddit myself as I don't like the way they work. And I classified these as literally nothing but rumours myself. Not sure what the reason of your attack is.
Lobbying in other words, which goes on in all walks of life, all aspects of business, every second of every day.
Not an attack. But you're the one claiming truth yet you've provided none. Hence I asked for honesty.
Lobbying is using automation and followers to attack staff via social media ? That's ridiculous Cyrus. I'm frankly surprised you'd think that's ok.
They were literally asked to call off their dogs last year by the RDW. I mean, where are we at in this current time...
What? I clearly stated I heard rumours. Rumours <> truth. And I am always honest.
Fair enough, apologies.
I am trading in a car to buy an M3. Does Tesla collect the car from my home? Or do I have to bring it to the Tesla delivery centre?
Usually drop off to same place/time you are collecting the new car
Drop it when collecting. Make sure you have log book and 1 month NCT from the day of trade in.
I did it three weeks ago, at collection centre. Couldn't have been easier, they just took the log book and two key cards and whisked it off around back of Baldonnel. Never seen again.😪.
All the details are in their trade-in T&Cs.
i dont know i dont follow it as closely as you do, what you described was lobbying but maybe there was more to it? regardless if it gets approved its massive for them. But you are still adamant it wont be?
Massive for Tesla, they're doing for share price.
Massive for road safety ? No. Which I won't labour over again . (Been done)
but you are still adamant its not happening? Of course the move to automation will be massive for road safety, these are the first steps.
I was never adamant is wasnt happening. I'm adamant their technology choice is not safe and is not good enough to get certification. Whether that holds is unclear. But suffice to say most other manufacturers seeking this have sensors beyond cameras including BMW who are just launching their I3 and IX3s this year.
I expect this can and should determine if Tesla are cheapening out and lowering safety ( they are ) and as such this may delay or stop decisions.
Simply put Tesla are not good enough or safe enough. The regulators there have a serious choice to make on behalf of a company putting profit over safety .
ah hang on, you were categoric that they wouldnt get certified, and if you are saying the technology isnt good enough then surely it wont be?
The official statement from RDW:
https://www.rdw.nl/nieuws/2026/reactie-rdw-naar-aanleiding-van-bericht-tesla
I wasn't, I said shouldn't.
And it shouldn't for all the reasons I stated.
Once again per the post just above mine the RDW are being strong armed by Tesla's abnormal actions in releasing statements claiming all sorts.
Christ lads, this isn't normal behaviour no matter how much luxury you place on the capability. Your luxury doesn't trump other road users safety specifically vulnerable ones like motorcyclists cyclists and pedestrians.
It shouldn't be certified. Take it or leave it , that's my stance.
one of the best features in my opinion, works great
Some documentation required too. Not just X messages and pressure.
yes I agree now. It’s flawless. I didn’t realise how it worked when I posted!
I'm a bit concerned now that you might not even be aware you are lying or remember what your opinion is or was?
You have clearly said that with the current technology, Tesla will never get approval for FSD supervised in Europe. Current car, say a 2024 Model 3 or 2025 Model Y. And yes often you have said they shouldn't, that's an opinion. Subjective. That can't be proven or disproven. That's fine. But when you make a prediction that is about to be tested, that is a different matter
That is just from 4 of your posts from 1 page of this thread a few weeks ago where we specifically discussed if FSD supervised would be allowed in Europe. Your first reply is to me posting this (and if you look it up, I clearly said I had no idea if this was trustworthy or not)
