If you see a job that needs doing..
You may not be wrong, but I wouldn't use Trump as a good example of being irrelevant, she was irrelevant to him just for being a woman never mind being the left leaning figurehead of a small island.
Everyone who is not Trump is irrelevant to him anyway.
The highest Catholic in the country wasn’t elected by the people . She should have a small bit of respect . Would she do it to the Muslims ? She will be referring to him as Paddy next and it will accepted by enough fools .
I wasn't leaning on Trump in particular, he obviously has no idea of her political leanings given he didn't know of her existence in the first place.
I'd wager quite a few heads of state are unaware of her given our political system
So just to clarify, it's ok for the him to say Patrick but not her? That's what your saying? FFS this is the biggest non story I've ever heard.
Edit: oh what a suprise there's a gript article about this non story. It makes sense now where the faux outrage has come from.
Yea it's strange, we are normally competitive, a lot are crossing the border for legal white diesel. It's over 20 cent cheaper there.
I'd wager quite a few heads of state are unaware of her given our
As I said you may not be wrong.
But if her role were any more significant globally he still wouldn't have any respect, she wasn't the only head of state misgendered by him this week either.
The people call him Paddy anyway 👍
€2600, Anaesthetist was €1600 and the hospital got the rest, It was a three hour op.
Recovery is slow, OH is doing the lambing on her own. so thats a bonus
What would Jesus call him?
Patrick?
Saint Patrick?
Paddy?
Dai?
We don't even know his real name. Patricius in Latin just means nobleman. He wouldn't have been bating around northern england or Wales as Patricius.
Maewyn?
How is HVO after skyrocketing the same as diesel? 213.9 at the pump down from me but that's a dear spot anyway.
Because they maximise profits, was with the farm apprenticeship board years ago, met with fergal Quinn, we were ribbing him about the price of food compared to water, he explained that the price to produce an item had no bearing on the price to the consumer, they were carrying out surveys and if the public was prepared to pay €5 for a bottle of water, then the supermarket would charge €4.99.
IIt will only go down if the consumer stops buying or the government removes the 70% taxs on it.
Have a friend who had a big op 20 years ago for colitis , back in for another last year 5 and a half hours on the table lots of adhesions after the first op.
Consultant got €2,500 hospital got the big lump, charged for a single room while he was in a public ward, but he preferred the company. Was surprised the consultant got so little as it wasn't just the op time involved.
A lad called here the other day, he shoots deer. He was calling about oh. He had mouth cancer in 2020, 16 hour operation on his 50th birthday during covid. Removed half his tongue and grafted it back on.... Out the other side of it now. He said only for he had health insurance he wouldn't be here today.
Jesus that sounds rough
Jesus lad. Stop digging
ye, fair play to him. Used his phone for speech and language therapy as he had to learn to talk again and couldn't get any appointments with covid.
that’s a lonely slog without help
Ye, I walked away saying fair **** and as i always say your health is your wealth
It is surely and it’s not until it falters that most of us realise that.
Who's the woman doing the voice over on the farmers journal ad?
Paying VHI doesn't make sense if you ignore the better service, a friend had a colonostomy in November 2024 and was diagnosed with a non malignant lump on his colon they couldnt remove with the scope so he was put down for an opertion. they kept putting it off until february 2026 and now it's stage one cancer. If he had VHI, he'd hav had his op within a week
Fair play to ye all for looking after yourselves. Its something i really need to get better at.
I have to get a bridge tooth installed over the next few months and its looking like costing me about E1400. My current employer had promised me healthcare in my offer when moving but i never received it. a bit infuriating when i now have bills like that to look forward to.
The way the oil barrel price is going it could be the bargain of the year yet!
Did the barrell price per barrel not drop significantly lately?
it jumped significantly last night after Iran bombed quatar gas plant. It is the biggest supplier of natural gas I the world . Think about 20%
It's dropped again since. Sitting around 110
Thats a mad one on the house in Meath being being prepped for demolition today.
There must be some mad back story to it
