Are they going up or down, any quotes yet?
Correct and right. Anyways go with slurry lads......forget the fert
A large amount of sulphur tied up in the gulf. Won't help with p price for the medium term
I'm inclined to agree with you. This is the same Mossad/CIA that were able to blow up hundreds of pagers simultaneously to take out scores of top Hezbollah members in 2024. I very much doubt they made a blunder like accidently levelling a school.

You could refer to the Iranian regieme as exactly the same. It has used terror to subjugate its own people. No matter hiw many the US and Israel kill accidentally in Iran it will pale into insignificance compared to how many the regieme has butchered of its own people.
There attempt to develop nuclear weapons has brought this upon them. Most neighbouring Arab states are allowing the US military to operate from basesxwitjin there countries becase Iran has been a PITH to them for the last 40 years.
They may be they may not be. However Isreal cannot ever be the second best military power in the Middle East. The day itnus is the day Israel ceases to exist as a country.
Only room for one nuclear weapon state in that region so. All US allies have turned their backs on this one. Even the UK pulled their mine sweeper home a day before all this and she isn’t going back. A civil war in Iran will cost the EU big time which is what the US/Isreal are trying to achieve.
Over 1200 euro for a pallet of 23s. Big jump on this time last year again.
Big Jump in a month I would say
**** sake stick to the price of fert, what the jaysus can we change about the war in Iran
you’re right about the first part but I don’t think I agree about the second part. Trump just expected the new leader to just fall in line like happened in Venezuela. the regime will probably hold out now and will crack down even harder on any decent.
There are actually videos of people thanking them on social media.
I've tried to link them but the site won't let me
Its interesting that in general the people thst give out about the catholic church are all.ok with the present Iranian regieme. Micheal Martin described them as a "rogue state,.....that they have faulitated terrorism around the world......…that no country wants them to have nuclear weapons". He says alright he would perfer a diplomatic solution, however TBF that has been attemptef for the last nearly 20 years on this issus however the Iranians have not been honest brokers.
I am not exactly crying in my soup over this. The Iranian regieme has presided over the murder ( judicia, extra judicial and supressionnof desent) of hundreds of thousand of its own citizens over the last 40+years
Its interesting that Cathering Connolly cribs about St Patrick but defends this regieme. The people protesting the US and Israeli actions forget the protests they attend would be supressed in Iran but can happen in both Israel or the US. Not only would they be supressed, the Iranian regieme has stated they will shoot protestors who come on to the streets
TBH Boards has always bern like this. Threads get side tracked to deal with issues that effect the thread titles. Sometimes they are extracted my the Moderatores. The didcussion is not stopping anyone posing fertluzer prices.
In the last three pages approx since the 13th of March there has been 4-5 posts with fertlizer prices. Unfortunately most lads go in inquire about price and are not firming up a price. Talking to a smallish farmer who intends to just buy enough for silage ground, if he runs short of grass he intends to supplement wuth nuts
Israel has never admitted to having Nuclear weapons, it has never carried out a nuclear test. As well its a democracy.
They absolutely do have nuclear weapons. It's pretty widely known.
You’re right about the never admitted part but wrong to say they never tested, they joined up with the French and South Africa for that. Even the UN want them to sign up to the nuclear club but they just give the UN the two fingers as usual.
Has anyone bought or got prices for CAN or SULCAN in the last few days? Be nice to have an idea before I do a ring around later.
Can is €520 up from €400 2 months ago.
jaysu.. thank god we bought most of this years fert requirements last year…
Might be a year to keep stock low and utulise the slurry and local pig slurry which costs nothing.
Only for the diesel which is equally as mad unless it's a short draw
Gone up 25 cent today with local crowd, 1.75 a litre now, fertilizer price wont be the issue, actually getting it will be the problem
The last time fertlizer went expensive a lot the people with slurry started to charge for it.
Deprnding on your stocking level and if you have a bulk bin ration may be the answer
They still charge for it
If you can provide maps it's free local to me, including spreading.
Might change now, but still be cheaper than fert
Agree on all. Only thing some, of the pig slurry I've spread has caused some other type of weed to take over a field I spread one load in, fertiliser wouldn't have done it
Priced 18:6:12 and Pasture Sward with Aurivo today.
18:6:12 is €645 a tonne.
Pasture Sward is :€590 a tonne.
Wonder is this competitive pricing?
You talking about pig or cattle slurry? Our local big beef man was giving away slurry and spreading it but then a few years ago started charging and ya spread yourself. The piggery is free if ya supply maps alright but they don't spread for ya or deliver for free
It's pig slurry, if you have maps it's free and spreading is covered as well.
No maps and you pay half of the spreading.
I think they're struggling to get lads with maps with the new soil sample parcel mapping.
Interesting. Our piggery used to deliver it with artics but they got out of the trucks but still have the trailers. So ya can hire a truck yourself. Lad does it for €150 a load. They never spread it for anyone anyway but i'll ask. Might be a bit of an opportunity there
The 18.6.12 was around 580 a couple of weeks ago here and the 27s 550, so I would think its not far off.
Some one was saying on the radio that oil was increasing 6 cent in the wholesalers last night, so the pumps will be going up
https://www.rnz.co.nz/news/world/590199/china-restricts-fertiliser-exports-further-crimping-war-tightened-supply
It's only going one way
