Reports stating that Israel have launched an attack against Iran
Even if somehow successful, I don't think the circle of people who care to think of the great US presidents overlaps with the people who actually care about who rules in Iran or Cuba. These places mean nothing to the average person and spending a presidency on foreign policy goes against what his entire thing is.
Maybe they go for Israel's energy facilities now. That's if they have any missiles left after Trump said they have been mostly destroyed.
Trump has survived potential disasters but his achievements abroad are actually quite poor. He wanted regime change in Venezuela, he didn't achieve this. He wanted to own Greenland, didn't happen.
He is just very good at making the most out of small wins.
Gabbard says the intelligence community prepared for the possibility of Iran seizing the Strait of Hormuz. Senator King (Independent New Hampshire) responded asking was Trump told about that possibility, and pointed out Trump said 'who would have expected that'.
Iran says Israel has struck a giant Iranian gas field in the gulf.
On the other hand, Iraq has signed a pipeline export deal, which has caused a drop in oil prices in recent hours.
if they take out any israeli power plants god help iran
Yes I've just seen that on X. Trump is even more dumb than I suspected. Bibi has him by the balls and is squeezing. Attacking gas infrastructure makes it harder for Trump to get an off ramp. Bibi is determined to keep the U.S. in the fight.
Iran is starting to hurt Israel. It looks like they've badly damaged a big train station in Tel Aviv. That has huge ramifications in terms of how the country functions.
Hard to see how it ends. Iran's government won't be toppled. Decapitation won't ultimate destabilise the government. Israel will continue to be pounded. Question being at what point do the Israelis decide they've had enough. Crazy times and ultimately tragic times.
I hope I live to see a free Palestine free of Zionism. The very war that Israel started to have a square go at Iran puts it's existence more in peril than Iran's.
No chance any authority instigated by Israel/USA will achieve legitimacy over Iran as we know it. The regime may fall but I would expect to see chaos and civil war and possibly the breakup of Iran rather than a simple "regime change". Iran is a very complex country with many factions. It will have many years of instability regardless.
On the one hand, Israel's continued existence is more in peril than Iran's, and its end is nigh.
On the other, Israel is about to subjugate almost 200 million people as part of their dastardly 'Greater Israel' project
The Hamas/Hezbollah/Beardy Mullahs of Tehran Ministry of Disinformation chiefs need to get their propaganda narratives aligned.
They got them aligned, they want to claim all of this…. They are even dragging in Egypt.
Iran is not losing. Israel is taking a hammering, the Gerald Ford is hobbling back to Chania, the hormuz is not opening anytime soon, oil is way up today and latest reports from the US sound like Trump getting ready to taco.
Israel are committing atrocities in Lebanon as a precursor to their invasion and subsequent occupation. Not a peep from all those countries who decried Russia for their invasion and occupation of Ukraine.
Israel and the USA are also creating the conditions for world-wide recession and famine
IAEA director says the drone attack on Iran's nuclear reactor never hit the main reactor but just a laboratory on the site. No word of condemnation yet again on the attacker from the head of the agency regarding an attack on a NPT members nuclear facilities, just that attacks should be avoided.
If it's the South Pars field they've hit and taken out of action, that will cause a huge pump in price.
It is farcical that Iran hasn't been expelled from the IAEA.
'a fate worse than death' you say
I missed this. Who sent drones to a reactor?
No idea, that's what i wondered. Probably the Russians
Russians attacked Iran's nuclear reactor? What are you on about? Send a link please. (Not a Tweet).
I have no idea
Reza Pahlavi is appearing in various videos calling for the people to take to the streets tomorrow night, the last night of Ramadan.
Also lots of online videos showing Persians dancing last night to celebrate Chaharshanbe-Suri. (First time that i have ever heard of this festival)
As a non-signatory to the Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT), Israel is not subject to full IAEA safeguards, unlike Iran.
My understanding was Trump didnt have any time for Reza Pahlavi.
Would be more persuasive if posters could post links to online videos they reference.
.
Could it be that none of these countries expect Israel to soak up nightly missile attacks without repercussions? And can we start using Hezbollah controlled areas rather than Lebanon.
Hezbollah terrorists have killed around 150 innocent Israeli citizens in their rocket attacks over the last 20 years. Absolutely wrong and I condemn all murders irrespective of religion, race etc.
How many Lebanese people have been killed by Israel in the last 20 years? They have killed nearly 1000 people in a few days including 111 children. Also wrong.
The hatred continues to grow.
“President Trump’s request to delay his long-awaited summit with President Xi Jinping underscores how significantly he underestimated the fallout from Operation Epic Fury,” said Ali Wyne, senior research and advocacy adviser for U.S.-China relations at the International Crisis Group. “A show of U.S. force that was meant to intimidate Beijing has instead served to puncture the illusion of U.S. omnipotence: Unable to reopen the Strait of Hormuz alone, Washington now needs its principal strategic competitor to help it manage a crisis of its own making.”
Donnie no friends bohobooooo…
If he grows his hair a little longer, dons a shell suit and starts smoking a cigar he will be on a par with saville. Will probably be remembered like him
Could it be? Israel are following their normal playbook of massacring civilians to clear them out of the land they want to possess. Settlers will move in to finish off anyone left as they steal homes and land
It could be, but why? That land would never be there’s and it just gives a legitimate reason for Hezbollah to fight on. This way maybe they hand over the land to LEBANON to control without the influence of Hezbollah.
Well, apparantly it promised to them thousands of years ago and they want to establish a 'greater Israel' so tough **** if you live where they want to take
