We had an inexhaustible supply of tractor feed paper for Art in national school. We also got punch cards from time to time. It was used, covered with financial numbers and people's names etc on one side. It would be GDPR disaster now days. Back then no one worried :-). And yes, I did go on to used it for printing on. The joys of dotmatrix and line printers, especially fast ones. A Burster would be used to separate the pages and remove the sprockets.
