Was on Twitter this evening and a video autoplayed in my feed that was GBNews and either AI, or some absolute f*cking clown pretending to be Winstown Churchill.
The presenter was interviewing them as if they were real and I presume they were talking about the money thing, but who knows. Churchill (the character) was talking about how he defeated Hitler and and immediately segued to saying how much he hated the word "Woke".
It made me feel like getting sick a little bit. Whether it was AI or a character, how the hell did that make it to a supposed news channel in todays world.
Like with Fox News and the US electorate, probably around 30-40% of the UK politician would watch that, and feel mostly sad that Churchill isn't alive today speaking as he appeared to be on TV. It's cringeworthy stuff.

A large police investigation into the claims, CCTV from three polling stations seized, presiding officers and other staff interviewed and yet police couldn't even find one example of a case where someone might have been coerced into voting a certain way in a polling station, never mind dozens or hundreds.
So, basically, just more lies that were fed to the right wing press then.

The relentless attacks on the Greens seem to be only boosting them in the polls. It's quite surprising that they are only four percentage points behind the Reform UK juggernaut, despite the right wing press doing everything in their power to try and damage them and to boost their messiah Farage:
The war, and the overall Trump clown-show, is doing huge damage to Reform and the Tories, both of whom have been back-peddling furiously to pretend they never wanted the UK to join the war from the start. It's also no coincidence that the French RN and German AFD have somewhat underperformed in recent local elections and Meloni has lost a referendum.
As regards the 'right-wing press', I'd query how dominant it is at this stage outside the older age groups. I imagine the Greens have at least as good an online presence as any of the far-right platforms.
Noticeable that the Reform train seems to have run somewhat out of steam in the last few weeks / months - well down in the polls from where they were last year.
Good point about the right wing press situation too. They are are being read mainly by older boomers / OAPs at this point. Anyone under the age of 50 or 55 probably never sees any of their content and wouldn't recognise a single right wing columnist if they passed them on the street. The Greens do seem very tech savvy and Polanski is a prolific poster on social media.
I'll take your word for it as this place is the extent of my 'social' media. On the Greens I would still query whether national poll ratings and savvy social media will translate into council seats let alone MP's. In local council byelections up and down the country over the last 18 months, the only parties that have even registered have been Reform and the LD's. Labour and the Tories have lost seats hand over fist (the Tories less so lately) and the Greens have only made a handful of gains. The fact that London and Manchester and other urban centres are voting in May may help them.
