Its becoming more usual. In fairness it says clearly in the description that it has been done, and which photos have been 'improved', and the current version is shown as well. When its done in a deceptive way its a bit ridiculous as people are going to arrive for a viewing and be very disappointed, but this is very open. Personally I find the AI-d versions a bit ridiculous, bland and boring. I would prefer to see my own potential in the real pics, but that's just a personal preference.
Common enough for the interior of an unfurnished house but I've never seen children or a pony manifested before.

I would have prefferred if they manifested the children of the corn and a unicorn :)
It's honestly not bad as far as AI slop listings go; they at least made it clear which photos were altered and provided the unaltered original images as well, and didn't do the usual shite like double the size of the rooms in the AI versions. Plus the place seems to be at least habitable in its current state, so it isn't pure fantasy at least. The livestock and the children prancing through a field of wildflowers were a little over the top, though.
F**k your Honda Civic I've a horse out
How long before we hit €10k per sqm? This one is real close.

Talking to a prominent northside EA a few years ago, he had a house in Howth that sold for €15k per sqm.
Gorgeous. The staircase gives it a palatial je ne sais quoi…
We’re back with ex-corpo properties exceeding €1m anyway. Some nice mid-century furniture although it doesn’t suit the space.
Not many million plus houses in donegal, this is savage though

Totally refurbished five years after it was built?
Fabulous location and I do like the house.
Wonder if it was half-arsed on the first build, or if it sat half-completed for years and wasn't fixed properly afterwards (it says it was completed in 2018, but not when it was started…). Of course I guess it could also have been more a case of "Live with an interior that's four whole years out of date? What am I, some sort of poor?"… 😄
While I dislike clutter, the minimalism in this case has been taken too far and what's with the throws on the sofa from a Swiss hotel, were they knocked off as trophies? Some locally woven woolen rugs with a pop of colour would be far better.
Just going to say, what's the hotel blanket thing - or do people buy blankets with hotel logos on them?
Agree its been over-minimalised, but there's no doubt its a lovely house. I wonder how cosy it would be in a winter storm though? There would be a lot of days in the year when the rain would be lashing off all that glass.
It shares a driveway with another (fine) house with similar views, maybe was built by the owners of the other house, 2 on the one site.
Looks like it was on sale for €1m in 2022 and sold at around that price, so a 60% jump in 4 years!

Bad form not having the staff clear the leaves off the putting green for the pictures.
Comments are gas. "Everywhere is the same" etc. And of course from people who got the **** out of there.
An 8 bedroom B&B, 2-bed apartment, full bar & dining area, 500m from the beach in a popular tourist region of North Donegal, all for €200k.
A bit dated looking from the outside but something not adding up there…

It's up for auction so will sell for more. Also in the auctioneer notes: 'Please note this property is subject to an undisclosed reserve price.'
Jesus that's a bargain compared to that other Donegal house posted a few posts back.
edit: offers over 200k. I don't know why people don't put the amount they are looking for.
Yeah, it's an auction, so the reserve is likely a lot higher; they start it off low to generate more interest and get a bidding war going.
Also, it sounds like the B&B part only has five usable bedrooms, as the other three don't have en-suites and there's no mention of a separate bathroom in the list of rooms. Seems like those unfortunate guests would be doing their business in the pub toilets and bathing with a sponge in their bedroom sink.
It's just for interest in search results. If it's going to auction, there's not going to be any "bidding war" based on $200k. Opening bid will wipe that out.
Beautiful home and gardens
Castlequarter, Coosan, Athlone, Co. Westmeath, N37XT99 is for sale on Daft.ie
It’s grand, I wouldn’t call it beautiful. The kitchen is a disaster tbh.
Even the AI generated pictures have a crying chair in the corner.
agreed. I hate the isolated chimney breast in the living room. The other probably real living room looks bleak. And I know I would constantly be hitting my head on those sloping ceilings upstairs. A hard pass!
It's a grand house and gardens overall, but anyone who lets ivy grow on their house wants their head examined imo.
I agree it can destroy a building. Plants are pretty strong. I watched during my summer holiday a bit of tarmacadam start to rise in the back garden and a day or so later a weed came up. So they have a bit of strength.
