Reports stating that Israel have launched an attack against Iran
Agreed.
My point was only about Lebanon - Israel has tried to invade multiple times and grab land. Last year, they were even caught moving the official UN blue line.
I've posted multiple times that Lebanon need to get rid of Hezbollah (and Gaza needs to get rid of Hamas). Egypt and Jordan made peace with Israel. Lebanon is trying hard.
Palestine is different as Israel has illegally occupied it for many decades.
They are also illegally occupying Syria.
That's the "form" I'm talking about.
Where did I blame Palestinians?
Jews and Christians were Palestinian too before Israel was created.
If you weren't so blatantly disingenuous I might engage with you further. Hezbollah are not refugees, why you are bringing Palestinians into this is beyond me.
Because displaced Palestinian communities have struck back against Israel from various vectors.
No one really thinks about where the refugee camps within Gaza came from.
Hezbollah are not refugees, which is what you and the other poster were saying or implying. I really have no interest in engaging with you any further on this because you clearly just want to push whatever agenda it is you are trying to push.
There are Palestinians within Gaza descended from displaced people.
I don't know what you're so anal about who exactly is what. Not all Israeli's are Jewish.
Seriously, you're just making stuff up about what I am saying at this stage. I have been talking about Hezbollah, the Lebanese group based in Lebanon not being refugees. I have no idea why you are doing this. Please stop replying to me.
I and others have said they're base is where many refugees of the Nakba ended up.
You are tiresomely boring with this insistence that Palestinians cannot exist in Lebanon or Jordan and elsewhere after the Nakba.
I've literally never said any of this. I honestly don't know what part of my post that 'Hezbollah are not refugees in Lebanon' you can't understand. Please stop replying to me.
israel messaging very different from trump
We have thousands more targets to hit in Iran, says Israeli military
Effie Defrin, a spokesperson for the Israeli military, has given a televised briefing.
During it, he says the Israeli military still has "thousands" of targets to hit in Iran.
Defrin's quoted by Reuters news agency as saying: "We are identifying new targets every day."
Maybe you missed the original question. It referred to peacekeepers killed. Irish Free State soldiers fighting in the Irish Civil War were not “peacekeepers”. 88 Irish peacekeepers have died while serving abroad. Not all were “killed”. I know you don’t like answering questions but would be interested in your evidence for claiming representatives of Palestine killed most Irish soldiers.
Israel will never ever run out of targets. I still think we have just one more week of this war.
If the Lebanese army attempt to disarm Hezbollah. Many Shia members of the army could mutiny or defect to Hezbollah. This was the analysis in a very interesting piece by Mark Little on the Brendan O’ Connor radio show.
Funny, because lately, I seem to be forever humming: Ifwhiteamericatoldthetruthforonedayit’sworldwouldfallapart
That's a strange question … the Ayatollahs' regime has never shown any distinction between Israel / people within the 1967 borders and anything or anyone beyond them. Their mantra - manifest by their proxies - has been simple "Death to Israel" not "Death to Israeli settlements beyond the 1967 borders."
Whatever about illegal, the escalation by the US/Israel was most certainly not unprovoked. Iran has been waging war against Israel via its proxies for as long as I can remember. It should not come as a surprise that Israel decided to stop responding to just the puppets and go after the puppeteer.
What provoked Israel to attack Iran (and for the US to follow)?
israel mentioned 3 more weeks earlier maybe longer
In Israel your military can rape prisoners anally with knives and not face charges. And the population riots to get the soldiers off. It only came to light because of a leak. Can only imagine the horrors they’re committing. Terrorist state. Israeli military drops charges against soldiers accused of sexually assaulting Palestinian detainee
"A video of the alleged assault, which was aired by Israeli news, shows soldiers taking a detainee into an area they cordoned off with shields in an apparent attempt to hide their actions. The indictment said the soldiers assaulted the Palestinian prisoner and sodomized him with a knife, causing multiple injuries.
A medical staffer familiar with the case who spoke on condition of anonymity out of fear for his safety said the detainee arrived at a civilian hospital in life-threatening condition with blunt trauma to the abdomen and the chest and fractured ribs.
He said the detainee underwent surgery for a perforated rectum and was released back to Sde Teiman days later. The arrest of the soldiers prompted fury from hard-line ultranationalists who violently overran the prison in protest. Members of Israel’s far-right government called the investigation into their conduct an affront to their service.
The military’s top legal official acknowledged authorizing the leak of the video to the TV station, and she resigned."

Talk about flying texacos.
Talk about flying texaco’s.
As long as a Palestinian baby is born, Israel will have a target
You can say that again...
'The Left' or other such trivial nonsense.
After Semafor reported that Israel informed the United States that it is lacking missile interceptors, IDF sources have denied that supply is running low, with one telling Haaretz that "we prepared for a lengthy war." Israel's foreign minister, Gideon Sa'ar, also said the report was false.
Israel may very well run out of missiles/rockets and, it seems, defensive capabilities. IDF and its sources are not known to be truthful.
Their support for proxies like Hamas and Hezbollah? Their stated intention to destroy Israel? Their acquisition of highly enriched uranium that has no civilian use? Take your pick.
I doubt that the people at the Nova music festival on 7/Oct/23 would agree with the characterisation of Israel's escalation as "unprovoked."
The same is true of Ukrainians who live in terror of Iranian drones.
Others have posted querying why Alleged War Criminal #1 (at large) is currently keeping a low profile, perhaps its this:
Haaretz:
Iran's Revolutionary Guards took to their website, Sepah News, to announce that they will target PM Netanyahu directly, saying that "if this child-killing criminal is alive, we will continue to pursue and kill him with full force."
The only side that will decide when this is finished will be Iran. They have a stranglehold on the situation. They will most certainly push ahead with a nuclear programme when they can
Thanks I needed a good laugh, and the irony of Russian genocide collaborators and Hamas/Hezbollah sponsors like the IRGC whining about "child-killing criminals" is delicious.
Giving Israel free reign in the middle east will not have the positive consequences you seem to think it will. The regime is horrible but its the last barrier to Israeli hegemony and that is by far the greater of two evils. That is the final slide to WW3.
I think everyone is aware of Iran's proxies and Israeli-funded Hamas, plus Israel's own proxies in Gaza. But they alone are not reasons to launch an illegal attack on Iran whilst negotiations were ongoing with the US. As for Iran's enrichment program, sure, didn't Israel and the US destroy that last year?
Those at the Nova festival are undoubtedly more concerned that the Israeli Govt. refuses to hold an independent enquiry into what led up to Oct 7th and what happened on the day. Especially exactly how many Israelis were murdered by the IDF. Circa 70 vehicles, shredded by attack helicopters, were recovered after the event. And as we know, Hamas did not have attack helicopters.
But of course, I'm well aware that you will defend Israel, its war crimes and its Genocide of Gaza to the hilt and fully support "from the river to the sea".
I think Israelis would much prefer their warmongering Govt. would just stop. Here's what Amos Harel wrote in Haaretz today:
There are no easy solutions in Iran and Lebanon on the horizon, and it is possible that Israel has boxed itself into a renewed war of attrition on two fronts. The impression caused by assassinating Khamenei is dimming while the memory of sirens and of running to bomb shelters is still there.
