Is there a thread on boards for Scottish football or isn’t there any interest except for the old firm clubs. Quite like the look of Hibernian having watched their European games on BBC Scotland in the last couple of weeks!
What a strike and what a celebration
pish
No Celtic fan but it sounds like your implying a bit of good fortune from outside sources shall we say.
Let's be clear. Rangers have had many many decisions got this season alone. Not even Celtic get the same amount as Rangers and when one goes against them we get the hard luck stories for a month.
The worst losers and even worst winners I have ever come across and its not even close.

You found it on twitter but did you check if it's true?
Might want to check that first and report back
reality 😍
With the news that Robert Duvall has died here's a reminder of the time he starred in A shot at glory as Ally McCoist's father-in-law. Stars a load of ex Rangers and Celtic players, often switching sides (McCoist is an ex Celtic player and Didier Agathe plays for Rangers).
Two very important 1-0 wins in a row for Hearts to keep ahead. They were pretty dominant against Aberdeen, should probably have scored more to ease nerves, but 1 was enough.
Dominant opening 15 minutes for Rangers and a class overhead from Chermiti to put them 1-0 up. Expect Celtic to come into it now
2-0 Rangers and Chermiti again.
Mix up at the back from Celtic and he was amongst it to make the most of it.
Thats Celtics title challenge gone. So poor all over the pitch.
Saint Martins magic seems to be long gone.
While Chermiti did very well for his second goal, it was poor from Araujo and terrible from Murray.
Better from Celtic in the second half. Very good header from Tierney to get it back to 2-1. 30 mins left.
That lot will probably end up winning 3-2
Not often you see a handball causing a penalty and no card issued. Right decision on both counts. Awful penalty but got lucky on the rebound, eventually. 2-2 and all up for grabs in injury time
Edit - finishes 2-2. Decent result for the jambos.
Hearts in driving seat now. Both old firm are cack
Is this going to be the most exciting SPL finish in a long time?
A 3 horse race.
Hearts slipping a bit , hopefully the Gers keep going to win it.
Building up to be a great finale, biased as a Celtic fan but I think the games after the split might prove too intense for Hearts and the fact Celtic have Rangers and Hearts at home might be enough to see us get across the line.
Great result, well done Dundee United and our own Jim Goodwin.
Fully deserved winners too, they had the best chances throughout. Goodwin always comes across well. They had a horrible day last week conceding 2 in injury time to Dundee, so lovely to see the bounce back
How did Neil Farrugia play?
Really hope Hesrts hold on. Would be great for Scottish football
But would it really be great ?
It would of course be great for their fans, but for Scottish football all it would be would be a curiosity to be looked at on the roll of honour in years to come.
Rangers and Celtic will continue to dominate and in maybe 40 years time you have another one off from another club.
Hearts are only where they are because both Rangers and Celtic happen to be bad in the same year.
Hearts winning would be far better than Celtic/Rangers rattling off another title. Would it have been better if Man City or Liverpool won the Premier League in 2016 instead of Leicester City. That season was memorable fir the under dog nature of Leicester City.
But what difference did it make?
The statement I was replying to was that if Hearts won it would be great for Scottish football.
Leicester City winning was great for their fans and neutrals like myself enjoyed seeing it, but it made no difference in the short or long term.
It was just one of those once in a generation outliers.
Which is all that this will be if Hearts win it.
Tony Bloom is running Hearts so they’re a better run club than Celtic are right now.
Celtic are in serious trouble as a club. A board under an absentee landlord Dermot Desmond that haven’t been fit for purpose for years. They’ve been getting away with it winning most trophies domestically because they’re the biggest club with the biggest fanbase but they didn’t push on in Europe and try to keep developing as a club.
They’re in a mess now and need to get rid of Desmond and the defunct board asap and even then face a year or two where they’ll be in recovery mode. Tony Bloom came into Hearts saying he wanted to win the league in 5 years. Celtic falling apart and Rangers still not great either means they could get there much sooner than that. I think they could build on it because they are using modern analytics methods and tools that despite being quarter the size of Celtic for example will put them ahead of Celtic until such time that Celtic get their act together.
Still a way to go to decide this season’s title race but I think Hearts are on a good trajectory. Whereas Celtic are in a mess and it could get worse if Desmond and his minions continue to hang around.
So what you are saying is that Scottish football should just stay as a duopoly, ad infinitum?
Two sides of a city, shouting and roaring at each other across religious and bigoted divides. Sounds great.
I just want to know what happens when Hearts go to Celtic on the final day of the season, when its a 2 horse race between Hearts and Rangers, with the Jambos leading the league by 1 point?
I'm not saying that at all.
What I'm saying is that if Hearts win the SPL it will be newsworthy and interesting for a while but on the whole won't "be great for Scottish soccer".
It will be neutral for Scottish soccer, it won't have a lasting impact, just like Leicester City winning the EPL did not have a lasting impact.
A great story, sure, but little else.
You’re not paying attention to what’s happening at Celtic. They’re the biggest club in Scotland but they’re being run horrendously by Desmond and the current board. The sooner they’re out the better but even in the best scenario with them out this summer Celtic are facing at least a couple of years patching things up to hopefully get back on top and then start to reach its potential in terms of Europe.
It’s there for Hearts to win a couple of titles, or Rangers, but Hearts are top right now; mainly because Celtic’s custodians have literally gone asleep at the wheel.
Now that the Hearts owner funds Israel let's hope not too many people want them win it afterall
