no such rules and live at the marquee is under the planning permission capacity so can do what they want. It’s not like the marquee requires substantial traffic management or garda presence. Aiken won’t let a Saturday marquee slot go to waste

A lot of historic Dublin Christmas connections for them. Pity never got to see any of those legendary Olympia shows but really loved the 3Arena show in 2024.
Joanne McNally is on 3Arena on the 12th, so I'd say that's not an option.

Yeah I'd say its just a placeholder for 1 night there. Maybe they're finalising the date or planning a 2nd gig there on off chance 1 sells out quickly.

I was at the last Pogues gig in 3 Arena December 24 . Great night . It was for the 40 year anniversary of Red Roses for Me ( Rum , Sodomy and the Lash 40th anniversary last year ) but they played some other hits.
Think it was full.on the night pre Christmas as well.
This probably would be a wider net of all their hits including RS ATL and I am sure they would fill the 3 Arena one , maybe two nights , but three is a push .
A certain poster on here was adamant that that gig would be cancelled due to very poor ticket sales.
Regardless, these gigs are surely some kind of misprint. Obviously can't do the 12th there, and 3 nights in a venue that size seems far beyond their popularity, performing RSATL or otherwise.
