Nice Scotch eggs!
Is that a form of relish in the 5:25 corner?
Also, "Sausage, egg n chips." was such an underselling! 😍
What is SDT? Sundried tomato. Your dinner sounds delicious!
Tonight was sausage sandwiches! Quick, easy, minimal clean-up and no effort!

Oh Sporina, Lao Gan Ma Chiili crisp is intensely savoury, not very spicy at all! You'll find it in Jia Jia.
Don't blame us if you get addicted :p
A couple of meals from Málaga.
Prawn pintxos, patatas bravas, Iberican hamburger and beef burger, chocolate cake and cinnamon fried bread.
Panko prawns.
Foccacia with mortadella, burrata, pesto and truffle salt.
Prawn tagliatelle with lemon caper sauce.
Mahi-mahi with stir fried vegetables and fried potatoes.
Crepe with toffee sauce and ice cream.
Cannoli with pistachio and vanilla cream.
Thanks, I make them every few weeks.
The relish is just Branston Pickle.
Sausages, mash and fried eggs.
Do mash and fried eggs go well together? I've often thought of having them but always end up with chips/fried potatoes/wedges instead in case the mash is too soft.
This is something I've meant to try so many times and yet never think of, I love a runny egg with all sorts of spuds. Idea of yolk running through a buttery mash really appeals I must say
Oh they are a match made in heaven. A soft runny yolk, running through the soft, smooth buttery, salty spuds is genuinely unbelievable.
Honestly, even just fried egg and spuds without anything else is a hella comforting.
You have to try it.
Tagliatelle with peas, spinach, onion bits.
Fried baby jackets, stuffed peppers, fried egg, tomatoes and onion.
Thai curry. Next time, choose between chicken and paneer, not both. Still delicious, but a lot to get through.
Thai Red Curry myself and homemade Buttermilk Chicken and chips yesterday.
wow where's the meat?
@Ryath That's some serious looking crispy chicken, fair play.
My attempt at mushy peas, reengineered from Lidl marrowfats.
Gloriously messy.
It was a 10 minute recipe, sometimes I don't use meat:-)
Chicken drumsticks with mashed potato and mushy peas.
Hoisin on the side for dipping.
Veg cannelloni, chips and garlic bread.
Rigatoni with chicken and spinach. Next time, in a bowl with some sour dough on the side.
That looks beautiful. Would you have a recipe for it please?
Tonight we had spiced chicken fillets with salad in fresh rolls. Just delicious and really hit the spot.
Hi Snowcast,
It's pretty easy.
Dice a couple of medium sized onions
Slice 4 cloves of garlic.
Dice two chicken fillets.
Olive oil in the pot.
Add the above to a pot on high heat until the chicken is seared.
Reduce the heat and add about 200g of passata. You may need to add half a cup of water if it's a bit thick.
Add spices to your taste - I used paprika and some chilli flakes.
I just add the rigatoni directly into the mix once it's simmering. Others may differ:-)
Once the pasta is done to your liking, add about 100g of creme fraiche and half a bag of spinach. Stir in the spinach and serve.
Grated pecorino or similar on top with salt/ pepper to your liking.
About 20-25 mins cooking time in total, usually.
Enjoy!
Thanks a mill - will definitely be trying that this week. Fairly sure I have all (or at least most) of the ingredients.
We seem to eat the same pastas all the time, so I'm excited to add something new into the rotation!
Tonight we had Salmon Croquettes with salad and coleslaw.
I tried to make mackerel cakes, but they fell apart in the air fryer. 😔 Too wet I suppose.
Still tasty though.
Watched a program on TV the other day, KFC vs Nandos. That planted the seed. Shared a 10 piece bouquet yesterday.
