I am starting this thread to discuss the Samsung S26 series, including specs, prices, and deals.
Rumors are that it will be available in late February 2026.
I didn't get the €30.
Am in incorrect or did they change the trade value. From up to 7** down to 'up to 600' euro.
Saw email today with that value and 15 percent off plus PayPal increase.
But are they simply playing with trade values
Trade in prices i looked at look the same to me. The paltry €370 for the S25 Edge is still the same. CEX are offering 475 cash. My accountant says i need to trade in my current phone if i want to run it through the business. So its robbing peter to pay paul. im at €933 less €475 to change using my money or €933 less €370 via Samsung but i can claim the VAT. Thats for the 256gb.
Still showed up to 700 odd for me a little while ago. S25U has stayed constant at €615 trade in value for me.

No, I don't think so. Well for my phone it has stayed the same at 615, it still says up to 722 but looks like 710 for the S25U 1TB is the actual highest trade in.
Ad sent today, non phone specific to me via email was up to 600 euro in the ad. For S26ultra and less for the Plus range. So their marketing team are definitely playing with values.

Are there likely to be more discounts close to tje 10th? Gonna get the Ultra and have the 15% discount and the €150 PayPal discount…should I pull the trigger now or hang tight?
I think the extra 50 on PayPal is all it's gonna be. Could be wrong but I think I'll order soon and if it does improve I can always cancel and order again.
Going to not bother with the buds, if I had the extra 30 off might've went for an impulse purchase but I have decent headphones already.
I got €710 for my S25u 1tb. CEX were offering about €75 less & there is always the possibility that they downgrade it from A to B & they pay even less.
I'd rather trade it with Samsung as they don't downgrade a decent phone
Maybe I'm wrong but is the €30 off code for the normal buds not just BUDS30?
Also do Samsung have reward points? I want to buy a case and a charger and am wondering whether there is any benefit to purchasing them separately?
I see the 512GB Silver Shadow variant isn't currently available. Makes my decision easier, as that's what I'd probably go for.
White colour appears to be €40ish cheaper via PayPal check out. That's on top of the €150 off via PayPal.
I get free insurance with Revolut, so don't think I'd go for the PayPal option.

How's everyone finding the phone so far? I really like it it's noticeable thinner and lighter than the s23 ultra. Camera also seems sharper or something but need to play around with it more. The software feels, dare I say it, very Apple like. Oneui 8.5 feels smoother than oneui 8.0 although that could just be a placebo or more powerful phone.
The processor is clearly a powerhouse it's very snappy and the buds 4 pro are a nice upgrade on the buds 3 pro. Privacy screen is nice I just have it turned on for banking apps and it automatically kicks in when you load them - if I was on public transport a lot I'm thinking it's a killer feature. However it definitely dims the screen slightly when it's active.
I'd say anyone coming from the s25U will probably see minimal upgrades but it's noticeable for me coming from a 3 year old phone.
I've yet to hear of anyone happy with the screen. It's like a feature that didn't need to be done. Great in theory but execution is a worse screen. Less vibrant which is what they're known for in the first place.
The privacy screen is from what i read aimed more at the asian market where people are crammed on the metro etc. Pre launch sales in Korea are reportably ahead by 15%. I would think sales maybe struggling in europe and especially on the regular and plus with Exynos. I think the scrren doesnt look as bright in any reviews i have seen but also most reviews say its as good when the privacy is off. As for viewing angles I dont really get that as you dont look at content from an angle IMO. But maybe some people do.
That can change. My buds were still at the same yesterday at 10.30 am but then got updated and delivered before 1pm. Keep an eye on it.

Anyone holding on for the Fold 8 in July?
My S26 Ultra came via DPD this afternoon. I received no order confirmation when order placed during week and no shipping/tracking info since then either so had no clue when/if it was arriving. My samsung account only shows orders from 3+ years ago. Only proof of an order was inside Paypal account and transaction on payment card account.
Will envelope for trade in be delivered separately?
They will email you a an post barcode label to ship it back to them.
