fertiliser going up €20t tomorrow and another €40t on Friday I’m reliably told today of existing stocks. Placed my order today . Had actually meant to buy it before Xmas for tax reasons but by the time I had all the bills paid I didn’t he as much left over as I thought.
I know all that but they always jump first and the rest follow.

860 on account in Tirlain for protected urea 46% goldings, it was 620 on weds morning, hard to fathom how co-ops expect lads to absorb this with milk prices where they are, theirs easily 5 cent a litre between fuel/energy/fert and contractors/businesses having to up rates been added to cost of production

Thats what the local branch manager was quoting this morning on the phone, Tirlian dont actually own the fertilizer in branch re goldings afaik, so theirs product in the branch that has went up the €240 euro...
In fairness world urea prices have spiked to over 700 dollars and climbing, but its pure gouging for product already in the country

I do but the crowd I bought it off didn’t have much. Have enough in the for 2 rounds rest will be can. Didn’t use much urea last year
Priced some today in Galway:
1st place - 550 for 18-6-12
2nd place - 560 for 18-6-12
3rd place - 580 for 18-6-12 and 590 for 18-6-12 plus Sulphur
up €25/tn since yestarday price
Was quoted 590 today for 18,6,12 no one seems to have urea and don't know if they can get it.
