Reports stating that Israel have launched an attack against Iran
I would imagine that they have built up significant reserves with the black budget.
The business people from UAE threatening to remove their businesses from the American economy will become one of the most potent deterrents. The only thing that the American administration cares about is money
Time magazine and the Guardian newspaper done research and would disagree with you over the figures. Why was the Iranian regime so secretive and not allow proper reporting?
Cnn confirms earlier reports from a few days ago on the Jordanian Thaad radar strike. Given Iran is plugged into the Chinese real time satellite system you would imagine the last one in Saudi was still at the location it was at before.
Iranian state media said last night attacks are set to escalate and broaden.
I'd be happy for nobody to have nuclear weapons but what is crystal clear is having nuclear weapons provides defence to a country. Do you think Iran would have been attacked on 28 February if they possessed nuclear weapons?
The penny dropped a long time ago
Your online shopping might experience some delays.
Neither the Guardian or Time have done any research into this estimated number of dead. They've merely repeated the 30,000 figure that was reported. A figure, BTW, which appeared IMMEDIATELY, without any time taken whatsoever to do the basic checks on its validity and which has been reduced by organisations that are actually on the ground in Iran at the moment. Including the organisation that appears to have been responsible for putting it out there in the first place.
This 30,000+ number is an ESTIMATE. An initial estimate that has not been supported by further investigation.
Do you honestly think Israel and USA care at all about your second point? They are NOT doing this to help Iranian human rights, even they themselves aren't pretending that, it's an insult to the Iranian victims to exploit their suffering it plays any part in the motives of the aggressors
Probably the same reason as Israel when Iran fires missiles at them or when Israel annihilates Gaza… it is called censorship
I’m just hoping that “it’s the economy stupid” still holds with the electorate- they’ve been duped by MAGA for a while now, I’m beginning to think they might have forgotten what’s traditionally important. Trump has spent all of his time on foreign matters and wars so far - I’m hoping Americans are beginning to see how much of a fraud he is and how “America first” is anything but
Ireland should be worried, the U.S. is confusing Iran with Venezuela.
I find it odd that Israel hacked all the traffic cameras in Iran and yet they could not find footage to substantiate their 30k dead claim
oh seriously - they’re holiday makers- it’s not like they went their to fight or something - there’s more important matters here to get upset over
I feel like this needs to be posted sometimes to remind people of the actual size of Iran in comparison to Iraq and Europe.
Trump told us last year that Irans nuclear programme had been "obliterated". Was that untrue? If so why should we believe him now.
But they said no shortages..
South Korean Foreign Minister Cho Hyun said on Friday the U.S. and South Korean militaries are discussing shifting some U.S. Patriot missile defence systems based in South Korea to be deployed in the war against Iran.
Cho was responding to a question at a parliamentary hearing.

Qatar's energy minister has warned that war in the Middle East could "bring down the economies of the world", predicting that all Gulf energy exporters would shut down production within weeks and drive oil to $150 a barrel.
Minister Saad al-Kaabi told the Financial Times that even if the Iran war ended immediately, it would take Qatar "weeks to months" to return to a normal cycle of deliveries following an Iranian drone strike at its largest liquefied natural gas plant.
Israeli media is reporting that Iranian missiles hit Israel’s Ben Gurion Airport.
There has been no comment from the Israeli army yet.
Looks like the UK has redefined what self defence is. I wonder if they found out yet who fired that drone at Cyprus the other day, you would imagine that GCHQ intelligence facility at Ayios Nikolaos which can spot a guy in Afghanistan having a cigarette would of spotted a slow moving drone heading towards the island.
Give it a month and Nato countries will be involved to assist.
International journalists are still banned from Gaza even though the genocide is reportedly over (although the ceasefire still involves wanton murder by the IDF). Why?

I imagine executing a high profile western journalist may garner more attention.
I think some of the stuff is not easy to get, the radar stations etc. are not something they just lying around. There about a billion to make and take a long time to make.
But I do think the business people removing money for investment into the US would be a major factor in stopping Trump i believe.
Having nuclear weapons has certainly worked for North Korea. No way would that country exist (as is) without them. More imoportant to them than even China's protection.
Yes. The same reason the 70,000 + people in Gaza killed don't matter to so many. They're muslim and not white.
Well now the damage is done i guess we're all involved now
Given Iran has supplied Hamas and Hezbollah, do you think they would use a nuclear weapon on Israel if they had one, given they vowed long ago to wipe Israel off the map?
Khamenei was against nuclear weapons.
Exactly we shouldn't be 'getting upset' about Irish holiday makers getting stuck in Dubai. Presumably they have their return flight booked so it's their airline's responsibility not the Irish taxpayer's.
Because he told you so?
Why did his regime spend such incredible amounts of money and effort striving to enrich weapons grade uranium?
Why would they not finish the job like Pakistan or North Korea did when they have vastly more of everything required to do so.
If Iran were in genuine pursuit of a nuclear weapon, they would have developed one years ago and in complete secret, just like Pakistan, North Korea and Israel. They've had ample time in which to do so.
One could say that Iran's mistake was playing the west's game according to the west's rules, which has proven to be a major mistake for them as Trump tore up those rules and has now attacked them along with his pal Netanyahu.
What Trump and Israel have shown the Iranians is they cannot be trusted, even when you play the game.
In future, whatever power structure exists in Iran even if it's secular, there will now be more advisors saying that perhaps a nuclear deterrent is actually needed because America and Israel's word cannot be relied on.
I see the UK's Justice Secretary is getting angry about a leak from a national security meeting on the UK government's response to the war on Iran.
David Lammy has said it is an “absolute travesty” that details were leaked from a top secret national security meeting on the US-Israel attacks on Iran and has called for an investigation. There were reports last weekend of cabinet splits at a national security council meeting, which is protected by the Official Secrets Act, over allowing the US to use British bases for the strikes against Iran.

Leak from secret UK meeting about US attacks on Iran a travesty, says Lammy | US-Israel war on Iran | The Guardian
He hasn't denied their accuracy so pretty much confirming them.
they vowed long ago to wipe Israel off the map?
I believe that was former president Ahmadinejad's personal take on things…
