Just to cover whether the Burkes are aware or not of the facts concerning the existence of the appeals panel membership which Enoch brought his latest appeal about, at the hearing which Mrs Burke and Amni interrupted from the floor of the court, [for which they are now due to stay in prison for criminal contempt] they both claimed then that the “the panel is still in existence” and that “Geraldine O’Brien is still on the panel” and had not resigned.
Geraldine O'Brien resigned from the panel on the 13 Dec last, way before the two latest resignations from the panel following Judge Cregan allowing Enoch start his dud appeal against their presence on the now defunct panel. Whatever about their creed beliefs, having a belief that the appeal panel is still extant when Enoch himself seems to accept that it has been stood down due to the resignations two or so weeks back does show the Burkes live in an alternative reality to most people here on our island.

They’ve been given 3 weeks to appeal the order that they are not allowed to be present in court for any future hearings. The finding of contempt stands and I don’t think there’s any appeal against it. Whether it counts as a criminal conviction I’m not sure.

For all her righteousness, home schooling, holier than thou preaching and regardless if they’ll ultimately be proved correct, which is fairly unlikely; what mammy burke has most definitely and ostensibly done is ruin all her children’s lives. Which is a horrendous thing for any parent to do. They are all now unemployable, un-anything pariahs.
