Reports stating that Israel have launched an attack against Iran
An attack on Iran by Israel and the US and they decide to blow up a school
Not at all. Indeed, I don't think I have ever stated anything positive about Bibi. I believe I stated previously that if he is found guilty of whatever charges are pending, throw him in jail by all means. But one has to respect the capability of the IAAF and the US military here. Folks last year were proclaiming that Iran would wipe Israel out and were itching for a fight between the two. Egg on face today I think. FAFO
I'll ask the same thing, given the fog of war, how are we to know and verify the facts on the ground? The Iranian state-controlled media states something, and you believe it as gospel. Human Rights groups suggest the regime murdered up to 36,000 unarmed protestors, but you dismiss it. Lets verify what actually happened in that school first shall we?
Funny that, I never once saw you criticise the genocide in Gaza alongside your admiration for the brave IDF that could murder people so efficiently.
You must be glued to Sky News and all the rockets and war porn now.
No country even Iran will use nuclear weapons if they have them, they know they will receive a nuclear bomb in a very quick response
I didn't dismiss any claims about the numbers killed by the Iranian regime, you are either confusing me with someone else or else just making it up.
I know from your other posts that you are a clear apologist for Israel and the IDF so honestly I really don't care what you think given you will do anything to excuse their behaviour, up to and including murdering children as you are doing now.
You're concerned about the 36,000 murdered in Iran but couldn't give a hoot about the genocide in Gaza? What is the difference? Is it all about protecting MNC taxes?
I have, but you want to argue about stuff I didn't even say.. Its boring.. Any thoughts on why Iran are attacking all its neighbours with impunity? Residential areas in Dubai where many Irish people live? I thought targetting civilan areas was a war crime, was it not? Not much
Any thoughts on Israel targeting civilian areas with impunity? I thought targeting civilian areas was a war crime, was it not? Not much
What? Who mentioned Ireland and Corporate Taxes? I dont want any civilians to die and given that Iran have been the root of all this for the past 40 years, then the death of that regime would be welcome and may usher in a new peace in the region. They are attacking all their neighbours today, are they not? The blame of October 7th lies squarely with Hamas and their Iranian sponsors.
The perpetrators are the obvious difference. Hence the lack of concern about the school children. It all must be verified some time in the future like the Gazan deaths.
There are mixed reports about that school. Some are saying that it was an interceptor missile that malfunctioned and came down on the school. Again, lets wait for the facts.
Seriously, do you actually think Israel wouldn't deliberately target children? Even if it was proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that it was a deliberate attack you and your ilk would be clutching at straws to justify it. You really are on the wrong side of history and why you double down on this stuff is beyond me.
Why would you doubt Israeli accuracy?
I don't, that's why I think they knew exactly what they were doing when they bombed a primary school.
I need to order some home heating oil asap...
Israel never miss schools!
I wonder will trump even bother to show up when their coffins arrive back.
The US military has said three service members have been killed in action.
Five have also been seriously wounded, according to US Central Command.
"Several others sustained minor shrapnel injuries and concussions - and are in the process of being returned to duty," a statement from the military added.
Appalling crime against kids, now that there seems to be two confirmations as per article
Your choice of a Guardian link is interesting in light of pages and pages of arguments earlier in thread trying to paint the Guardian, BBC etc when they reported on 36000 deaths of protesters in Iran as fake news, it’s good to see faith in professional media has been restored

If he does, he'll probably give the families McDonald's food to console them.
I think this is the problem by just having a bombing strategy. Innocent people will be killed and the people that are supposed to be rising up against the regime will be staying inside because of the bombing.
Oh you are concerned about war crimes now? You never accepted there were war crimes in Gaza. Double standards. Netanyahu should be in the Hague a long time ago but when it comes to war crimes, Trump and Netanyahu attack the ICC.
Fox News of all places
Its duration is still unclear, but the campaign may go on for days, according to U.S. officials.
Sustaining operations beyond the initial window presents a more complex challenge — one shaped by a "zero-sum" competition for missile defense inventories between the Middle East and Europe.
Officials and analysts warn that certain U.S. missile and air-defense interceptor inventories have been severely drawn down by the relentless pace of recent operations. The strategic dilemma for the Pentagon is that the systems required to shield U.S. bases from Iranian retaliation are the same ones being depleted by the defense of Ukraine and the ongoing protection of Israel.
During the intense June 2025 Iran–Israel conflict, U.S. forces fired more than 150 Terminal High Altitude Area Defense Interceptors — roughly a quarter of the total global inventory — and a large number of ship-based standard missiles to protect allies, according to published defense assessments.
This shortfall largely is attributed to the dual pressure of supplying Ukraine against Russian cruise missiles and the surge of batteries to the Middle East. Replenishing these high-end systems can take more than a year, analysts say, because production lines are optimized for peacetime and cannot be surged overnight.
From my experience directly with talking to Iranian people, along with other things I've read, they are very nationalistic and have a culture, which includes a literal empire, that goes back millennia, they don't want or need foreign interference in their affairs. It's something that this simplistic narrative of 'liberating the natives' can't comprehend.
Wasn't your MO that Ireland couldn't criticise Israel because of the Yankee dollar?
You don't want civilians to die but admire brave IDF efficiency. The mental gymnastics…
Yes Hamas caused the Oct 7th atrocity. But tell me, who did the genocide afterwards? Go on, actually say it.
Could you shut the f*ck up repeating the same thing about the BBC, Guardian etc ad nauseum?
And maybe change your username to boring65 while you're at it.

Strange how Israel is surrounded by countries whose sole aim (above everything else) is to "eradicate Israel" but nothing ever seems to actually happen to it. It was even a big tourist destination up until October 7th.
Bought 500L last weeks for £284, went to £299 yesterday and just checked now at £314.
Iran has a population of 93m, when people protest it's in the 1000's . Most of the 93m love to live their way, the way of their leader, so I don't see a huge celebration, I see the opposite .
We're going to find out the global consequences of starting illegal wars.
