Reports stating that Israel have launched an attack against Iran
While everyone is focused on Iran, I guess the Gazan death toll will rise faster during the so called "ceasefire" by Israel.
Corbyn called out for the usual hypocrisy
What story ?
US attacks Iran and Iran attacks US military bases surrounding it and you think they should not?
If the base was empty as is reported then dragging yet another country into their conflict is the height of strategic stupidity
Especially since it looks like it wasn’t the empty base that was hit but residential blocks
Interesting the Brits HAVE NOT come out yet with a formal statement on this attack on Iran. Starmer held a Cobra meet this morning for an hour at around 9.30. The UK media is waiting on this statement ..
You have not answered the question
Try reading a bit slower, it all depends on whether the base was vacated or not
Many gulf (and European) countries made it clear they don’t want their land used for attacks on Iran
Dodged my question. What if European countries were hosting Russian military bases? It doesn't matter if they are evacuated during an attack, unless you think having your enemy's military bases is just an irrelevant bit of minutiae in the grand scheme of the West always being right.
Those that have a pension fund can look forward to a sizeable fall in their investments on Monday . Not as bad as been killed by US or Israel bombs but will impact plenty . Trump or Israel won’t stop until World War 3 is under way .
Board of Piece, destroying our* enemies piece by piece.
*Open to interpretation
Is any outlet reporting that a residential building was hit? There are reporters in Bahrain. If you can find a source do share.
Otherwise more likely thats what the Central Command HQ looks like.
BBC saying that Bahrain confirmed the base was hit.
I'm not saying the school wasn't hit, but more broadly I find it strange that certain types imply that global Western mainstream media is some sort of untrustworthy and agenda-driven super conglomerate, but then takes state TV from despotic nations and random accounts on YouTube as a kind of infallible truth.
I don't know what the driving force is, but something like that was posted a few pages back by someone rubbishing the BBC as completely untrustworthy….I looked at the video and then the page, it was just videos of the same guest cranks on constantly about complete demonstratably false propaganda waffle, and someone is actually suggesting this is more trustworthy counterpart to the literal BBC.
Starmer is looking through his international law manual to determine if the US and Israel broke international law with it's unprovoked and illegal act of aggression.
He did the same thing with Venezuela and still not found the answer yet. No doubt he will confer with his allies and make a joint statement or something something.
Starmer is as dangerous as Trump, simply because he has no backbone - a directionless and weak UK leader is as bad as a Russian loving EU member state like Hungary - neither are good for strength and unity in Europe
The USA attacked Iran and US military bases surrounding Iran are a direct threat to Iran therefore you, somehow, don't think Iran is justified in attacking those military assets?
Remind me who the good guys are here.
I don't care if one or both of my pensions take a hit as a result of what's going on. I don't want to profit off the deaths of what now looks to be over 50 primary school children that Israel has murdered.
I'm getting flashbacks to Israel attacking Gazan hospitals and people vehemently denying it could ever happen, followed quite quickly by a mass defence of attacking hospitals and refugee camps because of "tunnels".
I don't have to believe anything out of Iran to not believe anything out of Israel.
Similar to the Venezualan attack, there doesn't seem to much strategic thinking beside these bombings. How are the populace going to take on a regime supported by the army? Smells the same BS israel were producing when they claimed Gazans would overthrow Hamas.
The American FBS 132 in Qatar is no more. 😂 😂. Over a billion dollars worth there I believe
I googled it and the Iranian regime said school would be resuming in a week? So this just HAMAS level propaganda?
Starmer telling Iran to get back to the negotiation table....huh? They were more than willing - Israel had no intention of negotiating.
Iran is a huge part of destabilising the Middle East.
There are no good guys here.
The point of my post was that there are no good guys in this, Iran is neither good nor innocent regardless of how wrong the US or Israel are.
Judging by Starmers speech just now it sounds like the UK are also in the pocket of Israel.
Sure if they want to waste their missiles and drones on an empty base that by every report was vacated and in process dragging a country that was trying to distance itself from this mess into it, that’s their (bad) strategic choice
not yet, let’s keep an eye for what comes out, Iran can not afford to alienate countries in their neighbourhood with collateral damage
Just as i spoke, up pops Starmer with official UK stance:
Clueless from Starmer, Israel and the US just destroyed the negotiating table
