If the US allowed the UN to act as it was supposed to, we'd be in a very different situation.
I'm not saying those people (whatever the number is) wouldn't have died, but I know that those that are likely to die and suffer at the hands of the US intervention shouldn't have to.
Russian vetoes would ensure that the UN wouldn't act in any way on Iran.

They did help the Palestinians, they brokered a ceasefire and put a peace plan in place. The parties were ready to do peace and the US facilitated it.

I never said you defended them in that specific post. You did deflect away from the 70k+ Palestinians that have been murdered and ignore that over 600 have been murdered during the ceasefire.
Not once have you given any condemnation to the Israeli regime and that's fair enough as you have stated that you don't do political condemnations, well apart from when it's against Irani regime, or Afghanistani regime, or the Qatari regime, just not against the Israeli one.

I doesn't matter what I think, what matters is what is, and what is possible. There would not be a UN without the US veto and the UN would collapse if the US veto was removed. Inventing alternative fantasy arrangements isn't going to change that.

It is a FACT that the UN would not exist without the veto. The major powers are on record that it was a precondition of them joining. Historical revisionism cannot get you to a different conclusion.
Fair enough in relation to the future. I cannot state that it is a fact that removing the veto would collapse the UN, no more than I can state for a fact that jumping out of a plane at 20,000 feet without a parachute inevitably leads to your death.
