It did. They played a set and recorded for the tv show Other Voices. It's in a church where about 80 people attend.
I was at that. Actually won tickets in Tower Records.

That was the first time Times Like These, Low and some of the other One by One songs were ever played. All my Life had only been played once before I think.
I was on the barrier and had made an Ireland flag with the FF logo on the white. He took it off me during Breakout and hung it on the amp on stage. A 16 year old me was buzzing.
A 40 year old me was like that yesterday when I got the tickets. Still on a high and the gig has yet to come.

Funny enough I met them the next day at Witnness and Chris Shiflett said he wanted to keep it and hang it up. I obliged. haha.
As expected, today is the slowest day ever. Still won't believe it's happening until they're on stage in front of me. Pretty surreal experience yesterday morning and still haven't "come down" after it.

Seriously though, thought Foos were amazing that night (compared to their performance in Olympia a couple years before) but doesnt help that Jimmy Eat World are not my cup of tea, despite that I got the tickets through their website having missed out getting them on the Foos site.
Thought that would be the smallest venue I see them in until yesterday - saw a post from Nialler9 at 10:57 and was in a taxi and in the Olympia by 11:21. The room was buzzin waiting to get tickets, so cant wait for tonight

Yesterday was a bit of a blur.
Woke up, had the message about the tickets on sale, rolled out of bed, threw on (what I hope) was clothes, ordered a taxi to go to the Olympia and somehow got into the ninth row.
The poor taxi driver trying to have some chit chat; "So, bit early for a show". Me; "Eh, yeah… we'll see. I dunno yet."
Today has been the slowest, and most pointless working day of the year. So far.
