Hoping a New Thread may fix the posting issues.
Looked on to me, could see that leg behind VVD right from the off .
I'd be very annoyed if that was against us. Looked well offside.
Both goals cane from his push. Carragher just saying same
What an ending. Rio needs more game time, did more in 15 mins than Salah.
Rio is turning into a super sub. Poor performance, but to be fair we've been on the receiving end of a few of those games this season, so happy enough to come out with the result.
Whatever - if you keep having games like Fulham and Bournemouth eventually it’s supposed to balance out and you nick one. No embarrassment for me on stealing the three points there.
It would be a sackable offence not to win next 4
WH HOME
Wolves Away
Wolves Away FA CUP
Spurs at HOME
Wolves 1 win all season in PL
The second half performance was much better. Deserved a goal.
Rio on the bench all the time makes no sense at all. Comes on and suddenly we look dangerous and unpredictable as opposed to groundhog day with gakpo and salah. He’s young etc but who gives a sh!t, we need him now . Its very frustrating watching gakpo and salah every week.
Anyway, huge win but pox lucky. Never deserved it tbh.
Delighted to nick it , but by God that was Dire
Have the players given up on Slot ? The running on and off the ball that was the driver of this team for the last 9 years is just completely gone
Clear and obvious doesn't come into it for those ones. If it hits the arm and the player then scores then it's disallowed.
I think everyone would agree that the one today is very harsh because Mac Allister has his arms stuck to his side and turned away from the ball but it is the rule.
Not really. We were awful first half but were fairly dominant second half. Balanced out really. We had clear chances with Jones and Ekitike before we scored to. Overall poor performance but Forest faded and we took advantage.
Ridiculous thinking sir, how many times have we've been ripped off by VAR and far worse than what Mac did for that first goal. You take what you get, that's the way it is now.
Forest clearly targeted Salah today, he was facing a wall. Salah will shine when the opposition want to play, not park the bus.
We will not win all 4
Absolutely horrific performance.
But a massive win. Hopefully it gives the players a boost, and a bit of momentum now as the next few fixtures are where we need to start racking up wins before a tough May.
Our next 3 look winable, can Chelsea win next 3, away to Arse, away to Villa, home to Newcastle
No excuses not to beat WH, Wolves A , and Spurs,
We are 27 games into the season so just 11 left. When do you think Salah will shine ?
He's done
Delighted to jammy the win but another dreadful performance. One of many this season. Our midfield in the first half was actually embarrassing.
There was some talk a while ago that he still wasn't ready physically, and they were carefully managing his game time. He was barely getting some mins at that stage though, so it seemed bizarre. Perhaps the S&C team have noticed something with him.
Salah should never be out wide again - up top is the last roll of the dice for him. It certainly doesnt help him that he never gets the ball in front of him to run onto. Well not counting the one he got today and a gust of wind knocked him over. Today sums up.the season games are a coin toss.
Yamal is one year older than.Rio but has +10000 minutes v 365 mins for Rio in the first team
Great to get the win but a horrible performance.
Rio needs to be starting over Gakpo.
Feel like after the interview blow up earlier in the season, Salah is just seeing out the rest of it to part ways amicably in the summer. I find it hard to be too critical of him given his performances over the years.
I hope they are working on a new manager in the background to be appointed at the start of June as this will be a big summer with a lot of players leaving and the world cup possibly delaying transfer deals.
Barca are well known for overplaying young prospects and absolutely destroying them injury wise.
Delighted to get 3 points and be on the right side of the luck for once but I'd be concerned about mo's influence around the dressing room. It's clear he's on the way out and today was the first time I think he professionally let himself down under slot on the pitch. His reaction to be called off looked like he was deliberately trying to undermine slot.
I'm actually ok with Slot going at the end of the season but while he's here and you are too, you have to respect his decisions. Looked like he was trying to say are you serious? The reality is he's not the main man any more and while he should have a role to play for sure, Rio did cause more damage than he did.
Time has caught up and he's not what he was. An unplayable genius
the one time Nico sold himself and got 2 yards the wrong side facing the wrong way he still had time to wander back, catch up on Mo and watch as he just ran the ball off the pitch with yet another poor touch. Hardly one of the fastest left backs in the league. A half decent attacker is onto the last man or in on goal. He’s being targeted alright as teams know he is a more a liability on the ball than a danger.
How could you be annoyed if it was against us it was clearly on after VAR showed the player behind?
Salah may well be finished but what's Gakpo's excuse at 26 years of age? Completely anonymous again today.
The second half was nothing like the first. Slot and the team deserve credit.
Forest didn't have a sniff, even though we created little ourselves. The gaps were plugged and we ground out a functional half, which was turgid, but solid.
Ngumoha the difference. Pace and directness.
I know we have a lot of injuries, but playing Szobo at RB is a criminal waste of his talent!
