Very comprehensive test. What was most surprising to me (apart from the quality of the interior you mention) is that the CLA can do long distances faster than the Tesla Model 3. I don't think any competitor has managed that before? Not relevant in Ireland of course as almost no car ever does over 700km here in a day
To me the CLA is also the better looking car. That said the lane keep software of no car is on a par with Tesla (and what we have in Europe is ancient until FSD is allowed) and there is a price difference of €10k between these cars in base spec, and that difference would quickly grow higher if you would compare similar spec. So would that still really make them competitors?
For me - yes. My originals ones went at about 80k. 100k+ later and the replacements are still good.
