Just noticed Ticketmaster have released a good blast of tickets there now for the corporate level. I'm still holding out for 2 Front Standing ones if any one is looking to sell, please drop me a message.
Please stop reminding me that Bon Jovi still exists 😄😄
Fools and their money easily parted.
Always with the negativity.
The thread title doesn't do him any favours.
People can choose to be the better person.
I wouldn't go to this gigs expecting his voice to back to what it was. But there will probably be a lot of backing vocals over it. It is what it is, even after surgery.
If anyone been to Bon Jovi gig will know the crowd sing a lot of the songs. More than any other gig I've been too. It should be entertaining.
Why is it that no tickets show up for this when you search, unless you look at the stadium map? The maps has relatively loads of tickets.
I bought a single ticket for this back when they first went on sale. It was all I could get, but the person I bought it for isn't able to go now. The ability to transfer is currently unavailable and there is a note to say that tickets aren't transferrable for this event. Is that a standard message - will there be a time ahead of the gig where I'll be able to sell it on? Sorry for might be a stupid question, but I've never had to sell/transfer a ticket before!
usually a week or 2 before it opens up
Thank you!
The new special on Prime gives an indication of what to expect from his voice in the summer. Woof. It's so strange. He can hit certain notes but it's like he's forgotten how to say certain words. He's singing the sounds and not the words.
"I ain't gonna live forever" becomes something like "I ain't gonna liiip hooobeber!"
It's utterly bizarre.
Also, his timing is way off. Maybe he's having hearing problems.
Glad I didn't get a ticket for this.
The crowd will carry him as needed.
Yeah. But the whole selling point of this tour was that he's had surgery and his voice is back. Whereas, in reality, he sounds like Eric Cartman.
Common enough with older singers.
I wouldn't go to these shows expecting to hear old Bon Jovi. I think he hoped his voice would be better than it is.
Standing tickets available this morning on ticketmaster if anyone interested
Hundreds of seated tickets available now. Lower cost restricted view ones. A good few of them seem to have decent view though. These can only be purchased via "select tickets on map".
To get there (on mobile):
⇒ change quantity to "1", then more options appear and when you scroll down the "select tickets on map" option appears and you can select more than one seat again.
Guessing the vocal surgery failed, pity the poor people who have paid big money for this.

I would say that is an improvement on the last time I saw them.
I don’t care. On the wrong side of 40 so the bands I grew up with are touring less and less. And little interest in new stuff. I would go of he only waved at the crowd.
Backing singers could be picking up the heavy work on the tour
He should just lip sync like so many other artists.
Its rampant now.
Tour kicked off last night at MSG, some good 1st night reviews and comment that 1st half of the show songs allow Jon to ease into it.
Here's a youtube clip of Living on a Prayer -sounds decent enough.
Of course, indoor venue where sound is easier to control than at Croke Park but, with the managed schedule could be a decent show. Set list is decent but, strange opening number…
I remember consciously noticing this for the first time with Dolly Parton's set at Glastonbury. It was greatly assisted with backing tracks & backing vocals. She was singing live but just not very often. Her mic seemed to be turned down for the tricky parts of it.
Most noticeable was her ability to be very physically active on the stage and not have any discernible effect on her voice. Not bad for a 68 year old woman...
Will be a lot of disappointed people with no Bed of Roses or Always.
That list can just keep on growing, for me I would like to see Runaway on the set list, as this is probably the last tour would have been better to focus on the older music rather than the Forever album - I guess he's picked out the songs than he perform without stressing the vocal chords too much.
I had a friend buy a ticket on her Ticketmaster account for me for the Croker gig. The plan was when transfers open she will transfer to me, but there's a good chance I won't make it now. Can I resell a transferred ticket?
I don't think so:

You can't re-sell transferred tickets. You CAN transfer them back to the original owner and they can re-sell them, I think.
Thanks all.
If She hasn't transferred it yet, just leave it in her account and have her list it for sale.
