Prima Facie sold out in about four minutes. I know it was the Gaiety but I was surprised with no queue or waiting room.
That would be a real shame. Iggy was just a bonus. The undercard has been fantastic both years. It's a great day out I would hate to see it die or just as bad become too popular.
Papa Roach with Rise Against as support similar to the Rise of the Roach US tour would sell well here, maybe 3Arena with the upper tiers curtained off.
Yeah it's still a big if, if it's official. I think if there's not an announcement by early next month it's fairly unlikely to be going ahead. Time will tell I guess.
Maybe a sparring partner for Shinedown to get in there??
As would less gatekeeping. Particularly inaccurately.
Was thinking the same, maybe SD and PaPa Roach with a strong undercard for the 3Arena but my guess it will be Papa Roach in either Olympia or National Stadium
The Hotlress gig last night ended up being really good…was like a mini festival inside the 3 Arena, started at 19:00 and ended at 00:15. (I thought The 3Arena are supposed to have a curfew?)
Lots of people like Van Morrisson, Imelda May, Boomtown rats etc. that, whilst good I wouldnt pay €60 - €100 to see a standalone gig.
Fair play to Hotpress for putting it all together...surprised with that lineup it didnt sell out quickly
I saw a few comedians like Tommy Tiernan were added too. With so many artists did they all of much of a set? Guess if it was for 5 hours they probably did but just curious. Good chance to see so many artists on the 1 line up in fairness!
No, 3 songs each more or less, a bit chaotic with the manic set up changes between each act, comedians doing their 10 minutes while that was happening but great atmosphere throughout. The Frames act of the night for me but really enjoyable throughout.
Yea, as stillill42 said about 3 songs each...was like a slower Eurovision with the stage changes....near constant movement and then either someone doing poetry or comedy (or in the case of Rachel Galvo...attempted comedy) between acts.
Was a shame that a good few acts like Van Morrisson didnt play their most well know songs, but overall for under €70, was a fantastic night of music...really didnt expect it to end so late though
Another man on his PR tour of trying to re-enter the Irish Zeitgeist.... Had a chuckle when I saw it pop up
The Papa Roach thing is a bit odd
Announced but not Announced, as someone mentioned maybe waiting for Shinedown or something

Reminds me of the time Ottowan did one of those retro festivals! They started with DISCO and followed it up with Hands Up! Then a remix of DISCO for the encore.
Showaddywaddy are on their way back! Just one of the original line-up (drummer Romeo Challenger) but they do put on a great show!

So you're saying she's going without you?
Utterly tremendous 😂
Shinedown again teasing the European dates, wonder will be getting them this week
Need some money after bailing on that MAGA event they do
Maybe it's a co tour with Papa Roach
On the latter just wish they'd announce the Irish show. Registered on Friday but still haven't received confirmation email
Go Woke, Go Broke………….. as the Trumpers would say.
Papa Roach November 3rd
Nostalgia has gone too far
Nostalgia was better back in my day
Who the **** are Papa Roach. The Point 🤔
Unless you were between 10 and 15 and had kerrang back around 2000 probably easily missed them. Last Resort is a great song in fairness!
This is the Last Resort
The zenith of douchebag metal

When do Borderline generally do their day splits? Could do with a bit more info. Have the weekend pass but have Whitney on the Saturday so I'll be late up. Couple there I wouldn't like to miss. Also interested to see how it's going to work with the split venues this year.
