Gigs announced this morning .
September 9th & 10th .
Always guaranteed to sell tickets here, popularity hasn't waned, unlikely to do 5 nights in croke Park again though. A huge deal for any artist but he's always said for years how amazing croke Park was to play in. A bit bigger than a "minor little jaunt". He seems in no rush to put out the documentary, but it'll happen again sometime soon I'm sure.
Will definitely be coming back, prob finish his vegas gigs next yr and announce dates late in the year for his Irish return the summer of 2026. Was spotted out in thomond Park while here so fingers crossed for 2 or 3 nights there 🤞🤞 any sign of this croke park dvd??
Still no sign of the Croke Park doc yet and at this stage I've stopped holding my breath😕 Unless someone here has some insider information I'm not sure we'll ever see it!
Hard to believe the shows are coming up to been 2 years old. Going by this the 'TV Special' is still in the works
Fingers crossed we finally get to see it this Winter!
So it's not just a concert dvd there's more, that would explain why it's taking so long, was thinking it should've been out for last xmas
Maybe they might like Blur
Release the 'Documentary' first and then Concert Movie later
Garth has bigger fish to fry atm, don't think its true tbh. Be shocked if it is

Yeah bit of a stir over stateside, she accused him of sexual assualt which had his named but she was anonmous.
In a "seperate incident", Garth accused a named woman of blackmailing him, in which he named a woman

Happy paddys day
Any news on Garth's Croke Park doc being released this year?
Nothing and by all accounts won't see the light of day anytime soon, pretty much doing a prince and building a vault of material.
I know someone who was interviewed around the time of the dublin shows and he was told by the producer if you don't see it out inside of 5 years you won't see it at all
You'd think with all the streaming services now, he could be able to produce any bit of tat and sell it for telephone numbers.
Straight to VHS then…
He is tied in with amazon for a long long term deal
Gig is coming up to 3 years (only feels like the other day) and hopefully the doc sees the light of day. Wasn't a few songs from the shows added to some reissue live album ballax recently. It'll be cheesy
Still think he'll return doing a nationwide tour. It's license to print money
Can mods please change to 'Garth Brooks Live discussion' similar to the Bruce thread
First UK show for GB in 28 years, maybe since he's over these parts 🤔
For his US gigs promo he's making use of the Croke Park Footage

Getting tickets for that gig was 100 times easier than Dublin
None the wiser about the Croke Park recording but some clips from it in the ad and an audio recording from a track at one of the shows included

Garth loves us
For anyone interested in tickets for Hyde park 27th of June / there are some for sale on ticketmaster
Very fun show in Hyde Park on Saturday night, had the crowd in the palm of his hands with everyone singing & dancing for the whole set.
Delighted I made the trip across the irish sea even though yet again didn't do 'Much Too Young' with myself in attendance. Another surprise omission from the setlist was 'Standing Outside The Fire' but all in all can't complain as it was a great flow between songs
Countdown thing on Garths website, wonder is it finally the Croke Park 2022 documentary or maybe a new tour with a return to Ireland. Easily sell out Cork and Limerick etc
You must have been within 50 feet of myself judgng by your photos.
My only issue with the show was that gap between Shameless and the Dance with bandmates singing and Garth talking alot, agreed with some of the omissions
He only played for 95 minutes it seems, cut 30 mins off his Dublin shows, which is disappointing, he should be doing 2 hours minimum.
Yeah had not idea what that Bod Seger cover was and could easily of played one of his own instead. Was expecting 'Standing Outside the Fire' after 'Friends in low places'
Having a support lineup, the mammoth amount of events happening in the city and England playing in the World cup could of been the reason for the shortish set. Only got in in time for Zac Brown Band who we're great and also didn't play 'Homegrown' one of their big songs. Surprised at the amount of a certain 'community' at the show but didn't see any trouble
The countdown thingy on the website counts down to i think 11am/12pm BST Tuesday 7th July so possibly Europe/UK related
7-7-7
Latest predictions for the countdown are a December full band resecidency in the Sphere
Zac Brown Band done a 'country resecidency' there last year
Looks like it's a world tour by what he posted this morning💪💪
Will it be like his 4 year world tour that never left North America.
Seems to be an arena tour anyway, he'll need at least 20 nights in the 3arena.

30th Anniversary tour 1996-2026
Maybe Croke Park again in 2027
Reckon that 2022 Documentary has been canned
