Like how long would your back hair get if you let it grow.
How come we never fall out of bed when we roll over?
For that reason I could understand in a family bathroom but not ensuite, although there was a house on the "who'd live in a house like this' thread last year with 2 jaxes in an ensuite. I love my wife dearly but not sure I would like to be witnessing that.
I think the brain does a lot of stuff we aren't aware of. More of a passenger than we like to think.
Would Katie Taylor fill Croke Park?
if she was a backing singer with Taylor Swift maybe
Would be a great finish to an incredible career, disappointing though if only twenty or thirty thousand turned up.
What takes people so long to do what they have to do in aircraft toilets . You are standing outside hopping from one foot to another while the spend enough time in there to have a shower and shave
Due to mild claustrophobia I only use aircraft toilet if I’m desperate, on my last flight I was and it actually took me longer to find out how to flush than it did to have the wee and wash hands.
At least you didn't do me. First time using a modern public toilet. After wiping while trousers still down I was looking for the flush. Big grey button near the floor and toilet figured that was it. Still with trousers down door opened and people looking in. They flush automatically when you leave. I obviously didn't know that.
Haha brilliant ! 😂
If you could get O'Leary and Musk. That would be a sellout.
Be like Punch and Judy ...hopefully with Katie punching both of their lights out .
If someone dies in a house fire say, and then cremated - do they get a discount ?
On that subject. Do they take the body out of the coffin and resell it to the next lot and just burn the body? That would be a nice earner.
As far as I know, they cremate body and coffin, then remove any metal bits from the coffin or from, say, hip replacements (not sure if they'd be sold for scrap metal or what) and ash (the softer parts of the body) and discard them, keeping the bones which then get pulverised and that's what the put in urns.
How do the long summer days translate to Australia, where there summer is in Winter?
And if they have long days in Summer, would it be a great life to jet set between the two?
Those long summer days is a Northern Europe thing. A lot of countries it gets dark far earlier than we do even in summer. I was never in Australia so I have no idea if they get long days.
Must do I'd say unless you're on the equater.
Would be great to have Christmas dinner on the beach.
Not a long of a stretch as we get. I met these girls from Taiwan and they said they do not get the long summer evenings like we get. It been years since I was talking to them but afair they said 8pm is sunset there during the summer.
Taiwan is much nearer the equator than Ireland.
Ireland is 53 degrees north, while Taiwan is only 23 degrees north.
The very south of Chile and Argentina (Patagonia) would be equivalent to Ireland.
Even New Zealand doesn't get the long summers evenings that we do as it isn't as far south as we are north.
They don’t get long days in the summer. Gets quickly dark by 8pm - seems a shame as they have the heat but then you are sitting in the dark. Summer in Australia is the same as winter here, December, January and february.
Also, tropical countries don't have extended twilight because the sun sets straight down over the horizon and suddenly it's night. In high northern and southern latitudes in summer the sun crosses the horizon at an acute angle hence there is an extended glow. In Shetland in summer it's called "simmer dim".
€2 for 150g of Blueberries. €2.85 for 500g of frozen Blueberries.
One is fresh the other is frozen. Simple.
Same product with an extra step of freezing. Should be more expensive for the frozen.
Why can't I buy the big bag and throw them in the freezer?
How is Graces7 an old user of Boards.ie.
Fresh have to be transported rapidly by air etc. Frozen can come by truck.
Please don't go there.
I remember.
You should have heard what she said about the reverse scenario! Could neither be printed nor typed!
