The whole back 4 have been brilliant, VVD and Gomez excellent snuffing out the Frrench league's top scorers, and both fullbacks doing a great job adding width, and of course Frimpong creating the second goal.

The two FBs have been great at both ends.
Fairly comfortable win really. Good performances from Frimpong and Kerkez in particular. They are the perfect type of opposition for us though. They play suicide ball from the back, make the pitch huge and leave gaps everywhere.

We could with a loss… there's 7 sides outside the top 8 currently who could get ahead of us with wins, so if enough of them won, we could just about get pushed out.

Really enjoyable watch, very happy with that. Obviously far from perfect, but we played the right formation and system, played the right way, and had a bit of intensity and variation. Keep doing that and the more intricate little parts of it will start to click. A really good win while still showing loads more room for improvement.
