Reports stating that Israel have launched an attack against Iran
The fall of the Mullahs and the Islamists can only be seen as a good thing, once there is a ready made competent government to take over that:
1. Isn't worse than the previous ones
2. Allows Israel to destroy it's military hardware (Like Syria)
3. Can unite the country and not end up like Libya or Iraq
Well - this just appeared from 26th US Permanent Representative to the United Nations, former US Ambassador to Afghanistan and Iraq.:
Organise protests? Of course. Mossad is more than likely involved, seeing as some Israeli politicians have wished the demonstrators and Mossad well. Mossad is prob the single most powerful agency in the world, it's been long said the CIA is just the American wing. Not that difficult for them to infiltrate a demonstration.
Why are you stuck in the past? Let talk about the here and now, where the regime you support are killing their own civilians in their hundreds and thousands. You do realise that the converstation we are having now would not be allowed on any platform in Iran?
Is it your view that the entirety of the protests are a Mossad operation so? That the average Iranian lacks agency or critical thinking to conclude that the Mullahs have destroyed their country?
It's always the jooze, just muscle memory for some people at this stage.
A stash of internet and communication devices found lately during raids. Shipped illegally into the country from a third party, obviously the protesters were well prepared.
Just a shame Elon Musk never gave free coverage to Gaza when Israel shut down the internet.
Pointing out what everyone knows happened in the past isn't the gotcha you think it is.
Ah so you know exactly whats going on now AND support it.
Got it !
Let's see what kind of help. So far it's help in the form of tariffs, I don't think that's what the protesters need
@mulbot, I think to the average Iranian the mossad call to join in with their killing, firebombing, rioting rampage – would sound to Irish ears like
“Join in with us ye Oirish scum people we will bring back the Black ‘n’ Tans and they will do the same to you again as they did before and you will live like 3rd class peasants again. Come on”. The Israelies knew that idiotic call was not going to work imo – and that the rampaging would be 95-98% their agents only. So this must have been a 1970s Italian strategy of tension type formula, basically a destabilisation & distraction strategy in a lead up to US/Israel attack no.2 on Iran. What do you think?
No it's not, the Iranians first started to protest over rising inflation etc.
I know as much as you do, and it's not the biggest jump in the world to think that people want to overthrow people who make their country a sh1t hole and that they will accept outside help.
Hot take, I support the overthrow of a bunch of extremists (that makes catholic Ireland look like the playboy mansion) that do nothing but spread misery.
Ooh, just like the Soros bricks that always turn up at riots.
Apologies, I thought you knew what was going on.
I will defer to your superior twitter research from now on, allah akhbar etc.
Most plausible situation. We did have Trump banging on about "touching the protesters" when it was relatively quiet and low numbers, remember this was only a week after the absolute loser Netanyahu showed up in America, something that's happened before every major event over the last 20 years.
I will defer to your superior twitter research from now on
I got this on twitter: "Public demonstrations against the rioters have been far bigger than the anti-government protests." If you are getting this tidbit on “mainstream” (or genepool) media , I will eat my hat.
That's a reliable harbinger of an imminent war or mass killing alright !
So much misinformation and fog out there with Iran right now.
There's already an active thread on this
It looks like the Iranian regime are going to survive once again. It just goes to show how truly difficult it is to unseat a regime who are willing to murder protesters en masse.
Looks like Israel and USA are about to intervene. This could get incredibly messy.
Assad survived for so long then finally fell. This is still evolving
If so, all American bases should be obliterated and Israel should be left to rubble. The notion of America looking out for the lives of Iranian civilians is lies
Based on what? Israel actually seems to be keeping very quiet and Netenyahu said in an Economist interview just a couple of days ago that revolutions work best from within and apparently prefers to keep out and just see what happens. I loathe him of course but apparently he is actually not keen to get too involved in this right now
Where ?
Basically the Israel/Iran thread is focused on this now.
Are you seriously thinking Netanyahu and his recent visit to America hadn't had any input with this.?
Yes but this isn't about what Israel does . It was a thread about Iranian affairs and if the Islamist are falling
Israeli twitter reporting lots of their AA is been moved into positions around the country. But no major outlet mentioning it or usual trustworthy sources on twitter. Wait and see I suppose.
I suppose it would depend on how effective Iranian counter intelligence has been since the war in June. Have all the well placed mossad spies been rounded up or is it the case there are assets still in place in key positions ready to go again?. It wouldn't be a surprise to me if the Americans were planning something similar to Venezuela( a decapitation strike as opposed to nabing the Ayatollah)- but will someone in his inner circle betray the Ayatollah to save their own skin with the promise of being allowed to continue to rule? Trump doesn't give a fig if the Iranian government is autocratic so long as they are amenable to western interests and not hostile to Israel. I wonder are there people around the Ayatollah prepared to make such a deal to be allowed to carry on in power?
