Hoping a New Thread may fix the posting issues.
Wirtz and Ekitike made this game look as easy as it should have been
Lads the actual technique on that pass.....unreal ..trap ..spin ...what a player
I clarified in the edit, but ya beat me to it with your reply — There's a spectrum obviously… some players break down more than others, but there are a significant number of examples of it not being good for a players career. And, I mean, of course - too much elite level physical strain on very-much still developing muscles and bones is obviously a dangerous game.

It's not about the ability. That wasn't in question for any of these players. It's about the physicality, the physical strain, and the duty of care to a player's career over the long term. Ideally the full weight of elite level game-in-game-out pro ball should wait until a player has passed designated physical milestones by the medical staff.
McCoist is a plonker….. so is Fletch, just can’t bear this result at all.
Minute before....
"TELL ME HES NOT MAN OF THE MATCH !!!!!"
that assist from Wirtz is harder than it looks so many times it goes wrong
….<deleted and reposted with correct quote>
All about the result. The quality of the goals and Ngumoha’s performance were a delight. The rest was shitw.
His ability to weight a pass is world class.
McCoist reminds me too much of Andy Gray and if I said anymore on that, I'd get another warning/point for abuse.
He's the definitive exception that proves the rule. He's about as big an outlier as you find in football. And he's also a ridiculous level of pro in the care he takes of himself, far above and beyond the norm.
Grrr
Angry
yea I saw a clip from pep talking about it’s rarely the skills, touches, ability etc most players at this stage have all that. It’s the playing with “real players” and real consequences that improves youth players.
Unfortunately in this day and age, it’s not ok to lose points so their chances are limited
We are a bit of a mess ..brilliant individual players ...
Horrible injuries...
Definitely serious issues in midfield and back 4.
We lack a team spirit ...and fans feel uneasy with our play and style...
And i think Slot on ropes and they and we all know it.....
Improvements are being made ..but still something not right in background and on training ground.
Will be fascinating what happens with Mo now ...a problem Slot hasn't had for a month...
Last 20 mins with Wirtz and Ekiteke was something to be positive about...we looked so different when we actually try go forward
3 goals and 7 assists for Wirtz now (including the Community Shield one...).
Its been a decent burst
Not long in the door was going to look at highlights but don't think I will bother after looking at the comments on here.
well you’ll miss three cracking goals
All 4 were quality
Really hope that Konate didn't pick up an injury. He was limping for a long period for the last while of that game. Only played because Gomez can't play 90 (yet). Screwed if we are down to 2 CBs.
16/28 or 18/30,, not sure if I see much difference.
Jürgen Klopps Liverpool only made it past the 4th round of the FA Cup twice... 3 times.
True.
He had us be absolutely class for 8 or 9 uears though.
19/20: Fifth round
21/22: Winners
23/24: Quarter Final
Klopp also largely used the extended squad in the FA Cup tbf.
Back heels rarely work, when there is an opposition player behind you. It made no sense, even if he did manage to back heel it it was still going to opposition 😅 It reminded me of this. He was dragged off straight away
Slot’s post match interview
He seems more animated than usual. Coming out fighting maybe? Referenced the fact that he has had to play Dom in RB even though he doesn’t want to. It feels like someone took him aside and told him what the view from outside is like. He’s not going anywhere without a fight anyway. Which is good to see.

Reading on some Real message boards and they seem to think Camavinga and Tchoumeni are absolute rubbish. Would gladly bite their hand off for either
Alonso's style would suit us, getting back with Wirtz and Firmpong too
Particularly Camavinga. He has everything
Most 30 year old footballers don't look utterly crocked….
What's his style?
