So thought I’d throw this up, in a similar style to the electricity and gas switching deals available
one big switch have a deal for eir Broadband €35 a month and €100 credit added to your account for new residential account holders, if you’ve had eir before use spouses name which I’ve done in the past
you could get starlink
It's likely the database just hasn't updated to include your Eircode yet but you can check these websites -
https://www.gov.ie/en/department-of-culture-communications-and-sport/publications/national-broadband-plan-map/
https://siro.ie/broadband-for-home/
https://www.openeir.ie/fibre/broadband-checker
https://nbi.ie/map/
https://www.comreg.ie/broadbandchecker/
You could also maybe get in contact with your local Broadband Officer -
https://www.gov.ie/en/department-of-rural-and-community-development-and-the-gaeltacht/publications/broadband-officers-contact-list/
There's also this email - broadband@ccs.gov.ie
Yeah my eircode is coming up as not found on most of them but the first one says theres plans for high speed Internet in my area but how long might that take!
Okay yeah if your neighbours are saying Virgin/Sky is available then it's either Virgin FTTP or SIRO that's installed in the estate, their database just mightn't have included your new Eircode yet. The houses that can order it now might just have had an Eircode for longer than you.
You can get in contact with your local Broadband Officer or that email to maybe get you an update.
Just an update my eircode is now saying fibre is available on the digiweb website. Is anyone here with them and if so any recommendations?
Very happy with them, you ring a number and someone Irish speaks to you. Service wise, it works
moved to them myself today with the switcher offer. Skys best offer was €45
What do you guys do then tv wise?
You can still get Sky Stream if you wanted, you don't need to buy Sky broadband for Sky Stream.
Sky Q with a dish is also still available to order for new customers if you wanted full recording capabilities.
sky stream and Netflix for 25 per month
Do they still have an activation fee of 30 quid?
Hi all, contact with virgin is up at start of Feb and not renewing it. Did any one know of any deals outside of what bookers/switcher has? NBI connection. Have Google WiFi in the house so want something that will work with that. Virgin media experience was not great but was tied into contract
€35/month for 500Mbs on NBI should be your base line for comparing offers. If you can do better then its a good deal. But make sure you check T&Cs with any offer - dont assume.
There is also the new legislation where by the Govt will allow a consumer to cancel a contract where in-contract price increases apply - but this is not in law yet (hopefully in time for the April increases). This may be a consideration.
These suppliers will all work with your Google Wifi.
Sky may offer deals also, but when I tried to switch to them last year, they told me they could only do NBI to a new connection i.e. not a switch - too much hassle for my liking.
There may be other offers, I havent check myself
Pure @35e/month/12 month contract. 500Gb - you can talk to an irish person in customer care!!
Fast connection 😏😏😏
Actually better again if you sign up online they are giving 10% off your bills for 6 months.

Good offer. I'd take that.
I'm currently paying them €55 a month. I hope that offer is open to me in a couple of months.
They didn’t do anything to keep me as a customer last year so I switched to sky. Will probably switch back again at the end of the sky contract.
they don’t do anything to retain customers, I’m with them paying €40 and the service is great but come April I know from reading here i will have to move
They charge €150 if you break your contract. Not good.
Depends - on €35 plan, thats 4.2 months.
If you have more than that remaining then you would be better off. Less than that you will get stung.
Other Telcos charge remaining time left.
Not true, I did my first year with them for €30 pm it was a obs deal going at the time, when I rang enquiring about my contract end date they offered me a renewal price of €35 pm which I took, it's ending in April.
What modem do the provide?
For the 500mb package I got sent this https://www.euroroute.ie/huawei-products/
Not sure if it differs for the 1gb package.
It’s fine but I have my own so I didn’t use it for long.
I was with them last year until June on the 1gb package and got sent the same. Better than what Sky send you, but still not fantastic.
only for SIRO ?
Maybe they are getting in ahead of the proposed new in-contract price increase laws. Good to see.
As for VFs plans on OpenEir Im not sure, but NBI plans below still show price increases….as well as their half price for 6 months nonsense. Hopefully these will follow suit.
That message about not seeing a significant price increase once your contract ends has been the case with Vodafone for a while. It just means there's no huge jump once you are out of contract like with other providers, it stays at the same in contract price.
But as you said there's still the annual price increase across all of their plans for now and their introductory prices revert after 6 months.
I just checked a siro address on the VF site. Still has the annual price increase in April.
