Hoping a New Thread may fix the posting issues.
Imagine if we'd lost 🤣
We won, people need to lighten up. spurs should have finished with 7 men also, horrible display of at best indiscipline, at worst down right thuggery.
Could only watch the first 60 mins or so. It was a hard watch. I can see why they call it the "horseshoe of death". Even when Spurs went down to 10 men, there was no real effort to go wide, always trying to tread the needle. Then we go wide with Frimpong and cross to score.
Everyone who watched it
Sad to watch Newcastle Versus Chelsea - long ball from keeper , counter attacking - like we used to do in the good old days. 1 pass a run a goal in about 10 seconds.
Against 9 men - and Spurs - we hardly managed one effective counter or even long pass - on one of them 3 men ended up off side - bizarre day and performance.
Liverpool only had 8 shots - 4 on target
Spurs had 15 shots - 4 shots on target.
Absolutely disgraceful stuff.
Good for you. Wins to keep come and so will the confidence
Who got man of the match on Sky?
Focus on the positives as Klopp used to always say. The negativity that marinades this place even as we are improving is exhausting. Each to their own i suppose. Meanwhile im gonna persevere with my positively 'ridiculous takes'.
But why are Liverpool crumbling when under the slightest bit of pressure? What happened tonight, and against Leeds is not structural related. In both games Liverpool were very relatively comfortable within their set up.
But mentally they can't seem to deal with even the slightest bit of pressure. The amount of hiding they do for professional footballers at the top level is simply shocking. Wirtz and Ekitike look like the only lads genuinely trying to offer something when the tides turn.
Its so very odd watching it. Are the confidence levels that low?
Confidence??
You did watch that match today?
That last 20 minutes was the total opposite of the word!
Anyhow, we will hammer Wolves 😉
I'm happy with the results and I doubt slot is happy with the football but needs must while he irons it out.
I'm firmly behind him but my criteria for him to get another season is CL football, a good run in this cl and a functioning formation and style I can look at and say "ya we can build on that and challenge next season again".
Alisson just said the same in interview there , hopefully he be alright. Back to back home games would be the tonic he needs to get some form going.

It's not just about entertainment, it's about performance and control. Today's performance had neither, and it's become a recurring theme.
I do like attacking entertaining football, but I primarily like good football, be it defensive or attacking in style. We were often chaotic under Klopp, but there was generally method to the madness. Now it's all method, no madness, but no control either What were been fed for the last 6 or 7 months is not good football, it's slop, and it has to be sorted. Analysis can't be just based on results, without the performances the results won't come themselves.
Winning games is priority. Winning playing good football comes next. Imo anyway. We were spoilt with Klopp let's face it. One in a million manager.
Look at Arsenal, winning games and are toxic. Their fans won't care.
Or Spurs, sexy football over the years and no one title since the 60s!
I like your positivity!
I'm not overly fussed about entertainment/style of play, I leave that to the Spurs fans. I just like winning games, however they come about.
4 wins from 6 , building confidence nicely overcoming adversity and gathering momentum. Lots to build on with on paper favourable fixtures upcoming. Hopefully continued improvement ahead.
Christmas Market spoofer must be wrong so!
Off course they did - but not nearly every week - and I'd be sure they didn't loose 6 out of 7 either.
A bit of positive news

Fair play on post - whilst you are really challenging me , in my mind the teams of the 70s and 80s , played tough - but could play football.
So much happened - the Frimpong thing was actually a great moment of comedy and light relief - he has hardly played this year - get his big chance - gets subbed off for a cut lip - lol , now that we can think about it all - what on earth was that all about.
And there is it folks, the "team" of the 70 and 80s closed out every single game majestically and never encountered any adversity in chaotic games where things went unpredictably hectic. What a time to be alive !
This is the worst unbeaten run I can remember, and the most pedestrian football since Houlliers last season. Even Rafa 09/10 wasn't as laboured as this dross.
Agree Wirtz has something great in him - he is a real player , but so many games I feel sorry for him - he is always looking forward , trying to make something happen - but the quality and formation is not there for him.
There isn't too much Joy in this Pool team - but Wirtz and Ekitike keep you hopeful - as back to the point , they try play a bit of ball we can relate to.
This fella who is at the Christmas markets......
Who's physio scout? Has he assessed Isak?
Did Wirtz not do this for Isak goal tonight? I give up.....
6 games unbeaten and joint 4th place. Onwards and upwards.
Lol - yes there was muck at times , but we always had someone , who could pick out a run , take on an adventurous pass forward and try actually break and be creative - what do we do now. Pass it sideways or backwards - even when we are on the break - mad to watch.
Early reports from Isak on physioscout are indicating possible ACL for Isak which was my worry . His ankle was caught but the injury seemed in his knee, he was holding his knee after. That’s 9 months out which would be horrendous bad luck .
