I have Assioma Duos that I bought November 2020. The pedal bearings got shot to sh!t very quickly but I bought ones and replaced. However after replacing, I noticed play in the pedal. Contracted them about it and they sent a replacement pedal body. So it's a thing I guess.
When I was regreasing mine I noticed that the inner nut on the pedal axle when torqued to spec doesn't take up all the slack , however when you torque the outer dust cap after that it removes the final bit of play.
Ya. That's what was supposed to happen but didn't. But in fairness they were good to deal with and no issues getting the replacement sent out
Good deal on Sportspursuits, a few years old design but decent helmet available in red and blue and medium and Large
Does that sticker peel off?
The word "bargain" is relative but a half price R5 ,though still a lorra beans, is still a half price R5.
Size 56 only
Guys, Im looking for as light a hybrid with disc brakes as I can find, for less than 500.
Following up on some second hand offers, but im also looking at sales and buying new.
Not eligible for the bike to work scheme at the moment.
Anyway, the Cannondale Quick 5 seems a kilo or two lighter than some competitors, and it has disc breaks.
Anyone know if this Spanish online vendor is ok?

I've bought a few bikes from www.ibksport.eu
Its 7 speed and used mechanical rather than hydraulic disc. I'd worry less about the weight and get something slightly better specced 2nd hand.
Sole really cheap city/commuting type helmets. Some for 9.99
I think this might be he cheapest I have seen the rear Garmin Light at 123 Euro:
Garmin Varia RTL515 Cycling, Adults Unisex, Black, Tail Light and Radar : Amazon.ie: Sports & Outdoors
Makes me think a newer model might be on the way, still a good price and has me tempted
No bother.
Also a planet X qr front and rear.
Just received this info: Extra 10% off the trainers at the moment if anyone was looking. Even cheaper than black Friday
So that's a Kickr Core for 404.99 euro? Good price - getting tempting!
xs only

€432:

Sharing in this thread as they do SIS gels etc
it's currently €399 on the Zwift site for the model with the zwift cog.
I don't know what a swift cog, (or what a tracker mortgage) is...
means you don't need a cassette, it's electronic "gear" shifting. Supposedly integrates with Zwift in some way but I think it works fine even if you're not using Zwift.
Interesting. That is deffo worth some research.
Thanks. I'm a little suspicious of zwift machinery not working without the monthly subscription. Possibly unfounded but
you can put a regular cassette on too.
For anyone who uses these, that's a decent enough price. 40g of carbs. If you buy through the app there are additional discounts - I ended up paying €1.44 each/. Other flavours available

Edit, sorry, g0g already linked H & B
Or if you're using ERG mode in the likes of TrainerRoad as far as I know it will work fine. It's just the virtual changing of gear that is zwift only.

Just picked one of these up today. I know they are pricey and I was looking for a bargain. Nice deal in Halfords at moment. Normally €960ish but has 10% off making it €860. Then if you buy a bike there's another 20% making it €690. I added a €120 kids bike to basket and it gave me the offer. On collection I chanced my arm to see if I could immediately return the bike. The guy just said he'd remove it from the order and honour the price €690. Way cheaper than anywhere I could find online. I know other brands are cheaper but this one gets such good reviews. Even if you have to buy a bike it's a good offer. Didn't push my luck for Axa discount on top!
That's some top class slíbhín arm-chancing!!! 😁
As most people may be aware Gorewear are closing at the end of March so some decent bargains and I suspect they will get better towards the end, although sizes are running out.
GOREWEAR | Premium Durable Sports Gear for Running & Cycling
Anyway use the following code for an additional 30% the already discounted prices: WHATEVERSAHEAD30
Using the code I just got a nice jacket and baselayer at 60% reduction 😁
