Some mad videos emerging from Bondi beach in Sydney. Gun man opened fire. Seems to have been arrested from the videos I've seen, looks like multiple casualties.

Then why conflate Israel's actions in Gaza with an attack on Australian Jews? Why is it logical to see Jews blamed for something happening in a country thousands of miles away but not anyone else for other random incidents around the world? Did anyone attack Chinese restaurants for the Uighur genocide? But Jewish restaurants are attacked regularly. And you're "explaining" it by "Gaza". It's not an explanation, it's victim blaming.
Because it would be silly not to and you can bet your life that this is not the last. As long as one side continues then so will the other. As i also said - both sides need to stop, yet you never metioned that.
So a government in the middle east kills a load of Muslims and as a result a bunch of Jews in Australia deserve to be targeted?
Using this kind of logic we could say that seeing as Christians are being murdered by Muslims around the world (look at what is happening in Nigeria) it's should be fair game to come in a kill a load of Muslims in Dublin/London/Paris etc tonight.
If these Muslims hate Israel they should go over to Israel and have a go at them, don't be targeting innocent people in Australia.
How do you choke on your own hate?
A similar attack happened in Kashmir, India a few months back where Hindus were singled out from a groups of tourists and slaughtered by the same members of 'religion of peace'
My hear goes out to the families affected by this anti-Semitic attack
Perhaps the west should have been viewing the U.S. with the suspicion prior to the Iraq invasions they are nowadays.
Bush Junr`s "coalition of the willing" didn`t do the west any favours. The U.S. has been rampaging around the middle east for decades overthrowing governments and installing dictators that suited their agendas. What we have been seeing is the old adage about dogs and fleas.
By "Both sides" why are you putting any responsibility on Australians? What's it got to do with them?
That's hardly how these things go. It's always the innocent who suffer as i've already said. These terrorists are not organised armies with planes and tanks. They are isolated and angry individuals or small groups who strike where and when they can and many of them sick with rage about something. As long as one side carries out inhuman acts the other will respond.
Religion of peace as usual.
Nothing to do with Australia and all to do with the ME and religion but we are not to talk about that in this thread.
DO you agree that this was an antisemitic attack because Australian Jews are not responsible for anything happening in the middle east?
It's a shame it has to come to this but fair play.
Beats the stupid critisism of RTE anyhow.
You don't seem to be reading the posts today at all.
Do you agree that this was purely an antisemitic attack because Australian Jews are not responsible for anything happening in the middle east?
Because that's not how some of your posts come across.
It is between Islam and Jewish faiths. Not where it occurs.
If they are sick with rage about something they should direct their rage at those who are responsible and not people out on the beach for a day if they can't find the way to do that then they should just do away with themselves
Responding to inhumanity in the middle east by more inhumanity is Australia isn't the way to go.Muslims have carried out numerous attacks on innocent non Muslims world wide, would it be right for the rest of the world to be sick with rage and target muslims?
Back on the attack itself, there is some reasonable footage of the event coming out. Up to ten minutes long.
Fair dues to the bloke who tackled the one gunman, though I'm amazed he let him go back to his friend instead of just putting a bullet in his leg or some such. (The correct answer is center mass, but most won't do that). Seems to me he ended up, with another private citizen, engaging them with two captured weapons, one long arm, one pistol. Unfortunately, by not shooting him, he ended up with two shooters on the bridge instead of one.
Second, I note that a private citizen was apparently the first to start limiting the damage, not the police.
Third, this "good guy with a gun" was not accidentally shot by the responding police.
That police cars just drove right past the two shooters on a bridge shooting long arms seems insane, but is just a good demonstration of the confusion and chaos of such a situation.
Fourth, just as well those shooters appeared to be barely competent. The damage could have been much worse.
nobody’s dragging anyone anywhere, in reality if he gets killed, what’s the point to being “brave” 🙄
Israel will never allow peace
He didn't get killed. He took a calculated risk and it paid off. He is a hero.
In essence I agree with you but these things rarely involve bright people who use logic. There are innocent Muslims too and they have been attacked by people and states with much bigger weapons. I want peace in the world but a fair peace.
So not because of Gaza then? Just a row between Jews and Muslims? In that case shouldn't we be supporting the underdog, who are clearly not the 2 billion Muslims? These guys were Pakistani and Lebanese. Nothing to do with Gaza, right?
But it's weird cos I can't remember a single Jewish attack in Europe, like, ever. Nor Australia, nor America.
Only Islamic ones.
The constant attempts by Israel to link the genocide and war crimes to 'all' Jewish people has made things much more difficult for Jewish people globally. The angle they are giving us is that if you criticise the war in Gaza and the killing of 60,000 civilians, you are de facto 'anti-Semitic' and are condemning all Jewish people.
This is an incredibly dangerous narrative to be spinning - that all Jews worldwide support Netanyahu and the IDF, deny that a genocide has taken place, are all hardcore Zionists etc.
That's just victim blaming. It wasn't the Israeli government that held a march on Oct 8th in Australia shouting "Gas the Jews". It wasn't the Israelis who attacked people (not even Jews, LOL) in France and Germany because of Palestine. The Israelis (and more often actually, local Jews or just everyone else) just point out these links.
I think you should take a wee break because you don't seem to be reading things as they are meant and your posts are very incoherent.
Thanks for your concern.
It's clear though that you, and others on here, are conflating Israel and Jews - that's what's incoherent.
As for how they are "meant", well I don't have your mindreading skills so I can only read them as they seem to me. If that's not what you meant, maybe explain better.
Is there any stop to it, Bondi Beach massacre today, German police arrested 5 Islamist terrorists planning to drive a vehicle into a Christmas Market. With many similar attacks in other western locations as well. 9/11, Paris, Brussels, Nice, Berlin, Manchester, Barcelona, Amsterdam, Stockholm, Frankfurt, Sarcelles, Glasgow, Dijon, Copenhagen, Marseille, Hanover, Magnanville, Wurzburg, Ansbach, Saint-Etienne, Charleroi, Hamburg, Levallois-Peret, Turku, The Hague, London, Madrid, Liege, Strasbourg, Utrecht, Lyon, Milan, Waldkraiburg, Reading, Dresden, Vienna, Rambouillet, Murcia, Newmarkt, with many of these locations hit multiple times.
I listed the locations above as these attacks are so common we won’t have even heard of many of them. We can be fairly certain there will be more in future too. Bid decisions need to be made asap by out governments. I don’t want to say any more than that for fear of be banned. But we can’t go on like this.
Who would’ve guessed it? They were also at it in Brown University in the US, targeting a Hanukah celebration there again. Yeah, I’m pretty happy with my position of not wanting mass migration of muslim men to my country!
Both sides?
Australians and who?
